Site guidelines ban showing off models you never intend to release on LCPDFR.com. If you see images like that, feel free to report them. Keep in mind that not every image with an unreleased car is going to get removed; we do exercise judgment when deciding if an image is taunting the community or not (and we obviously have no authority over what people put on other sites). But modders aren't going to release everything they make to the public. There are a variety of reasons for this, but it boils down to "because they don't feel like it." Trying to make them feel childish isn't going to change any minds.

It's not a revote, it's the normal EC vote. It is a routine part of the process.

It's not technically impossible to mod consoles; however, it's extremely difficult. Your PC is designed to run whatever code that you, the user, decide you want to run. Consoles are designed to run code that was written either by the console manufacturer or by a company that has a business relationship with the manufacturer. Console operating systems also are designed to restrict what third-party code can do; you don't get to modify the files of another company's game. PC modding works because you, as a user (and administrator) of your PC, are allowed to execute arbitrary code. Consoles are designed to block that. They are not perfectly designed; console OS programmers are human, after all. It is almost certainly possible to run arbitrary code on a PS4 over the network. But even *starting* modding involves working against not just the game developer, but the console manufacturer. If ways around console security are discovered, the manufacturer will try to patch them. Users would be at risk of having their consoles and PSN/Microsoft accounts banned. It's not something we have any plans to try.

GTA has two ways for a ped to wear headgear. Way 1 is as a hat; this means it's part of the character's clothes and will stay on unless it's knocked off. Way 2 is as a helmet; this means that it's automatically put on when you get on a bike without a hat, is (IIRC) a fixed slot (which is why Michael never puts on his golf visor when he gets on a bike), and will be taken off when you get off. Trainers, of course, can put on or take off hats or helmets. I don't remember how LSPDFR puts on the hat, but it sounds like you have it worn as a helmet. If you get off a bike, wait for the helmet to come off, and then go into a trainer and set the hat prop, it'll be worn as a hat and will stay on.

He isn't. He apparently thought "developer" meant "script developer" (which he is), not "L*PDFR dev team member" (which he isn't).

Hang on. My reply to Virzza was not with the intent of resetting the count, but it was still a post by a moderator. The count was at 2 then, but should have reset to zero, meaning we should now be at 5. Granted, the three posts after that didn't have people adding to the count, but in that case it'd be at 8. It definitely shouldn't be at 7. I'm going to be helpful and clear up the ambiguity. Zero.

This is a bit old now, but FYI: "Civil law" the way Hastings is using it has nothing whatsoever to do with lawsuits. It's a type of legal system, commonly found in continental Europe and former continental European colonies, rooted in Roman law codes and spread throughout Europe by Napoleon. The core feature is that the law is what is found in statutes; judicial decisions aren't a primary source of law, and aren't binding on judges in future cases. It contrasts with common law, which is a different type of legal system found in the UK and former British colonies, where judicial decisions determine what the law is and are binding on future courts. For a notable example, England still has no statute prohibiting the intentional killing of another person. There are laws that say "here is the sentence for murder," but the actual definition of murder is just the definition that courts created and refined over the centuries. The US is a former British colony, and our law is the result of a long period of evolution with English common law as a starting point. Russian law does not have that as a starting point, and is apparently more influenced by the systems found on the European continent.

What ports does your monitor support? It's possible the cable is limiting you; it's also possible that your monitor can support 75 Hz *or* 1080p, but can't handle 75 Hz *with* 1080p.

What, specifically, are you trying to do?

If it was the same in SA, there's a fair chance it was to make vehicle names under 8 letters -- some old filesystems expect filenames to be at most 8 characters followed by an extension of at most 3 characters (and the SA engine was also the III engine, AFAIK).

So my laptop died, and my new one will have integrated graphics. As I have a job these days, I can afford to also get a desktop for gaming. Here is the build I'm looking at. Does it seem generally sensible? It's a Skylake build with an i5, GTX 970, DDR4 RAM, an H170 chipset (I don't plan on overclocking or using SLI), and an SSD.
