  1. I like how it makes the skyline a pyramid.
  2. c13, just ignore him. Everyone else, ignore c13's most recent post. That is the only actual way to stop this tangent.
  3. Can I get the debug version too?
  4. How about we split off conspiracy theories into a separate thread?
  5. I have an issue with it crashing the whole game when I request the bait car. It seems to happen when I request my second bait car; the SHDN log is similar to Custo's.
  6. What I do is use SNT to make myself a firefighter, spawn a firetruck, and run Braveheart's mod, responding only to EMS or fire calls. Once the fire is dealt with, I use shift+delete to clear the scene (instead of having to, say, breathalyze the driver in an MVA).
  7. What's the difference between "Enhanced FIB" and the m_y_ciadlc02 peds from EFLC? Also, what is "lore-friendly"?
  8. That sounds more like overheating than a power surge. If it is, don't try to disable it, or your processor could actually melt and your computer could catch fire. Look in "Windows Event Viewer" and see what caused the shutdown. I used to have this problem, and it turned out that the graphics card was what was overheating.
  9. Most of Lt. Caine's MX7000 cars have a metal grille in the middle of the lightbar. However, one of his (ELS) cars has an "all light" setup, where the grille is replaced with white glass and an emergency light. Would it be possible to get a non-ELS bar like that?
  10. Will the MX7000s have an "all light" setup?
  11. Pretty much no one who writes any software at all can come up with an accurate release date. And if professional software is delayed, it is often for the reason this mod is delayed - bugs pop up that have to be fixed.
  12. m_m_armoured EDIT: And regular security is m_m_securityman
  13. ELS-H is designed to simulate rotating emergency lights (think old-style police cars with a single red beacon). ELS simulates regular flashing emergency lights. A picture won't really show the difference; look for videos to see.
  14. I believe it comes up in the LCPDFR player selector, which is enough for me. Can you describe what he looks like?
  15. Cop = m_y_cop Traffic cop = m_y_cop_traffic Fat cop = m_m_fatcop_01 State trooper = m_y_strooper FBI = m_m_fbi NOOSE/SWAT = m_y_swat NOOSE pilot = m_y_nhelipilot
  16. The opposite is true. Setting all cars in ELS.ini to Active=0 causes a bug in ELS, which makes EVERY vehicle ELS-enabled.
  17. If it did work, it'd happen the same way you make a car ELS-enabled.
  18. That is how you put them into the game. Full process: Export uppr_diff_000_a_uni to a folder. Edit it to your heart's content. Rename it to uppr_diff_000_b_uni.png. Drag it into the OpenIV texture viewer. Literally, click the file in Windows Explorer and drag-and-drop into OpenIV. Hit "OK". Save.
  19. It says Road Crimes Unit, Thames Valley Police in his signature.
  20. The helicopter's files are polmav.wft and polmav.wtd.
  21. The letter is the basic type of pattern, as follows (.=off, X=on): A-xx: XX.. ..XX B-xx: X..X .XX. C-xx: X.X. .X.X D-xx: XX.. ..XX XXXX E-xx is directional. E-xxL is left, E-xxR is right, E-xxC is bidirectional. X-xx is assorted patterns. Within each group of patterns, the number denotes the specific flash pattern. For example: A-01: XX.. .... XX.. .... ..XX .... ..XX .... A-02: XX.. .X.. XX.. .... ..XX ..X. ..XX ....
