Sorry if i hijacked your topic but that must be it. because this usually happens when lspdfr is loaded, ive checked everything else none of my cars or anything else is causing it. anyhoo ill reinstall it then.

@OfficerMod Im having the same issue, removing dinput8 will make the game startup again but the mods folder will not work. i have not found any solutions to it yet, ps are you getting an error called "unrecoverable fault"? rockstar games system blocks dinput 8 so it can't be used online. The only thing i can suggest is try to get in contact with alexander blade and see what he says which im trying myself, if i can find his information.

Hello lspdfr community. i have a serious problem i would like G17/lspdfr team to look at. long story short lspdfr was working fine until gta 5 had there update and i updated everything possible, like rage plugin hook / scripthook v / script hook dot net / rage native ui / and update.rpf and my dlc's and lspdfr still lspdfr is not loading. i load lspdfr through rph console and go to the station accordingly, but when my character changed from franklin to my lspdfr character it crashed. so then i tried loading lspdfr without lspdfr callouts and the xml's in the custom folder but to no avail. my log says it was an "accessviolationexception" Exception message: Attempted to read or write protected memory" This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt". now here is the real issue last night my pc updated twice and switched my gta folder to "read only mode", now i could turn it off but when i did it put itself back on. i truly believe that is the problem because read only mode is preventing lspdfr from reading the files of the root directory of gta 5 and windows 10 will not let read only mode be turned off. to expand on that i tried everything recommended changing the ownership to enabling inheritance in advanced options, no matter what you do read only mode can't be turned off. mind you all required files have been unblocked by windows defender and the firewall, also i turned off i forgot what its called but its a slider where you slide it down and disable something, still nothing. in addition my mods folder and plugins/scripts work like they should, so i think G17 should investigate because im unable to play lspdfr period and all the usual solutions have been implemented but have not worked. i hope people can look into it because this could affect other people going through similar issues with the mod. thank you.
