I believe that error is a Games for windows live problem, remove at and download it again from http://www.xbox.com/en-US/LIVE/PC/DownloadClient

Personally, I would love both a FDLC and EMS mod, I would gladly incorporate these in to my clan if they where to be released.

Other mods wont cause problems, but with mods such as the spotlight mod, everyone who does not have the spotlight mod wont see it when it is turned on, but people with the spotlight mod do see it. But there are always variations, such as the indicator script, even other people who use the script won't see it, all they see is your lights busting out, so really it's just the cars that GTA crys about :)

If you don't have the same car mods installed, you will constantly run in to a error, crashing your game to the desktop. They don't have to be the same textures, just the same model. *EDIT* If you want to advertise your clan, use your sig. It's put on the bottom of every post :) I use it :)

On the side of the road, I actually use to go to the tip and find a bunch of parts from computers there, make a Frankenstein computer :P. Thrift stores also offer a cheep alternative, always good for parts :P

What happens in the MDC does not happen in game, as of right now there is no way for anything to communicate with LCPD:FR. The LCPD:FR Database just randomly picks a first and last name, and then randomly generates stats, it's been a long time since I used the MDC as I started to make my own, so I don't remember much about the MCD's name database. And it is usable in single player because all it is, is just a website giving u random callouts, and you just fill out reports. Honestly I think it makes the user have to use their imagination too much, which is why I designed my own database system to not rely on callouts generated from the site, but callouts from LCPD:FR or other scripts such as bravehearts policing script, and you can make reports from these callouts/traffic stops that u conduct in-game.

1) no need for caps, 2) I don't think there is enough of the regular siren to record it, it's mostly the yelp/wail 3) Google is your friend, after doing a search for the term "GTA IV New York State Police Siren" I got this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNXZ-IvScAo which has a link in the description to the sirens.

I just use the basic GTA and I have the morevehicles mod to add the EFLC cars :P gota love havin police3 and police4 *EDIT* the lag is probably coming from the game now actually having to spawn all those cars and peds :P

idk about knocking down, but you can edit the WeaponsInfo.xml in your common > data like I have done here and change the damage value :)

Add friends to Windows live, Press Home to open this, and if you recently played with people you like you can click on People, and it will show you who you recent;y played with. To start a multiplayer game, if you have not done the story yet, then use SNT to enable phone sleep mode, then disable it, then press the Up arrow key and select live, then press up twice to select free mode, then set reserved slots to max (otherwise anyone can join, even hackers who use only god mod and no LCPD:FR and fuck you game up), then start game, simple as that :)

from what I have heard FDLC was just a huge fake, it was all SNT posed photes, and the person who was "making it" asked to have his account removed.

I think the pictures are just people doing the skins, no actual mod as far as I know.

Unfortunatly sending the original R* files is against the boards TOS, for copyright reasons, just stresses the importance of backing up your game completely. In the future though install 1 mod at a time, and then test the game, if it runs fine add another in. Soon you will find out whats giving you the problems.

Database is back online, and the site is fully functioning again.
