I guess this is about as close to LSPDFR as we can get at the moment. There is another thread about how to change your model and be able to do this in game.

I have just done this and changed my character to the male LSPD cop. I have noticed some interesting things. First of all, there is a model in the game for a female LSPD cop. She is not in the game, but the model is there, she is fully textured and you can play as her. Also, if you get a wanted level and look at the map, you will show up as a cop and other police that are LSPD cops (same model/rank as you) will not shoot at you, but the SWAT people will. Also if you make yourself a cop, you have the cops voice and can do cop animations from what other people have said (megaphone etc.) If you have a wanted level while a cop model, other cops act disoriented in the game, it is kind of weird. All we need to do now is figure out how to disable the wanted level in single-player and we have about as close as we can get to LSPDFR on consoles.

Hello, I am currently editing a GTA V video and I paused my editing software at one frame, and I noticed that in GTA V, cops will throw spike strips across a road. I always thought that at roadblocks, the cops would shoot out your tires with good accuracy, but they actually do put spike strips down, and even traffic cones. When you are playing the game, you are going too fast to notice these things, but it is there: Between this and the SWAT fastroping, I hope LSPDFR can take advantage of these features that are already in the game.

I'm willing to bet that on PC they will make single player and multiplayer 2 different programs/.exe files on your computer. There will one application for single player, and one application for multiplayer (GTA Online). The multiplayer program will have tight as hell security/DRM and will be impossible to mod. You can see from all of the patches that have already gone into GTA V, with patches being released literally days after new glitches and mods are found. Single player on the other hand will be much like GTA IV and will be open to mods. They are only concerned with protecting multiplayer.

Some guy online started having a shootout in the subway and the cops were having a tough time taking taking him down, so I decided to respond. The guy may have been hacking the game as you can see the cops are trying to target him through the wall and he shot me through the wall I was leaning against, while he was behind a wall and I don't believe I was even sticking out or anything. I posted some other videos on how you can get a cop uniform online and even disable the wanted level online if you call Lester. That's about as close to LCPDFR as you can get in the game without a mod.

Without mods, it is more of a roleplay thing, but this is as close as you can get to the real thing before it comes out on PC and (maybe if it supports mods and everything works out) LCPDFR is released for it. I've been thinking about this..with all of the security and patching that has gone into GTA V, where Rockstar is literally releasing patches for mods/hacks/exploits etc. days/weeks after they are discovered, what if GTA V does not support modifications? Can they allow mods such as LCPDFR without compromising the online portion of the game. They have really cracked down on their control of GTA V and the game's security, whereas with GTA IV, they just released it, made a few patches to fix (or try to fix) some bugs, and that was it.

Nevermind, I turned on my computer today, launched GTA IV, and it is telling me to update to 1.0c again. Why won't the update apply?

Try going into the control panel and uninstalling LCPDFR, then searc the GTA IV installation folder for "lcpdfr" without the quotes, then delete everything that comes up. You might also want to reinstall the stock police car models if you still have them, or at least something that you know worked with the game. Then reinstall LCPDFR using the automatic installer.

UPDATE: I just reinstalled the game and installed LCPDFR again and that fixed it. I was tired of my glitchy mods anyway.

Hello, I have been unable to update to LCPDFR 1.0c for awhile now. I keep running the auto-installer, but when I open the game, it is still on 1.0. I tried uninstalling and deleting all LCPDFR related files from the game folder, then installed 1.0c, but it is still 1.0. Any ideas? Thanks. UPDATE: Nevermind, I just fixed it by uninstalling LCPDFR in the Control Panel, deleting everything from the folder that had to do with LCPDFR, then installing version 1.0 and all the updates in order with the automatic installers.

Should I just reinstall the game? I feel like that would fix this, and some other issues.

I am using a trainer, an ENB, LCPDFR, a mission loader, the spotlight mod, traffic flow, the "Less Overtake" mod so peds don't ram your car in traffic, and the indicator script. Hello, since version 1.0b, once I start LCPDFR and go through the station and all of that, I come out with my partner stuck in place at the door, and cannot choose a car like I am supposed to. Sometimes, when I wait long enough (2 minutes of standing locked in place outside) the car suddenly spawns and all is well, but not anymore. I have seen other people report this, but those posts are from years ago on different versions and the fixes in those threads did not work. Any ideas? Thanks.
