  1. I cut the video to 30 seconds which fixed that problem. What do you think now?
  2. What if I cut it at 27 seconds and just faded to the channel link? UPDATE: I'm doing it.
  3. I should have remembered you all have heard it through about 40 times.
  4. Looking around the forums, most people have their profile name next to their post and then some sort of alias or title underneath that. How do I change that? Mine just says Senatov twice. Thanks.
  5. What do you think?
  6. Hi guys, Since GTA V came out, I have been able to get 60 FPS on high settings no problem. My specs are below. In the last few days for some reason, the game is maxing out around 45 FPS for some reason. I noticed the drop after I installed GTALua. I uninstalled it, but the performance is still pretty bad. I've tried lowering the settings a lot, but even then, the game is bottoming out around 40-50 FPS. It's starting to remind me of GTA IV's PC port. The mods I have running are Native Trainer, Pull out strap, Police mod, Call police, GTALua, Seatbelt mod, Working JB700, GTA scripthook. Any ideas? Thanks. Intel 4770k @ 4.0 GHz NVIDIA GTX 770 SuperClocked 2 GB 8 GB RAM Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 256 GB SSD (GTA V installed here)
  7. My opinion is that the game world looks fine, and all an ENB would do is de-stabilize this amazing PC port Rockstar gave us (as opposed to GTA IV.) The game looks good enough. Regarding lights--The game is really finicky about the bloom on police cars. When I lowered my graphics settings from high/very high to just high, it seems like the bloom went up and the graphics actually improved. It seems like there is this balance of settings that makes the game look the best, and it is not max settings. I would support a mod the increased bloom on cop cars as long as it does not impact other things in the game (changing bloom in GTA IV made the signs on top of taxis and other things become really bright and fuzzy.) Different light modes would be fine. Some people like the more-realistic (Is it though?) handling in GTA IV over the improved vehicle handling in GTA V. I like GTA V's handling much better, as for the purposes of a game, you want cars driving like cars and not boats.
  8. Skip to 2:00. I never knew that GTA V had this feature, but I guess it is possible for the player to be able to rappel out of helicopters like the noose teams. I know it is multiplayer but if the code is in the game it would make a great addition to LSPDFR.
  9. Since we are nearing the release of LSPDFR and there has been chatter about a few of these things on here since GTA V came out, I figured a proper poll was in order.
  10. Good work guys! But seriously--it's 3 AM local time. Go to bed. I really like what I see in the trailer as it all seems stable and smooth from the looks of it. Taking GTA V as a clean slate, I would say new features and callouts are definitely cool, but stability should be the goal. If you played LCPDFR in GTA IV, after ELS and ENBs and PoliceHelper and new callout scripts, vehicles, etc. the game gets really unstable. I think we should take it one step at a time. I never expected LSPDFR so quick. I know people can't wait for new things for GTA V but let's make sure it's stable first.
  11. Great trailer! How exactly did you guys pull off a stable LSPDFR mod so quickly? Not to be critical, but compared to LCPDFR releases, the turnaround from GTA V's release a little over a month ago to being about to release LSPDFR is blazingly fast. I assume the answer is just that the team has not gotten much sleep since GTA V's release. Also, maybe it is just great editing work (or a trainer? ) but the animations and overall mechanics (arrests, pursuits, etc.) look leaps and bounds better than we got for GTA IV.
  12. Is every session of Parliament like this? It's like a room of rowdy school kids but entirely awesome to watch. If Congress was like this I would watch CSPAN all day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQ-1DMLP0CE

Nobody? I really want to be able to use LUA mods.
  14. All the teleport locations are still GTA IV locations. I was kind of shocked when I opened up the teleporting menu and saw that you could travel to Alderney. Now THAT would be an awesome mod, being able to travel between GTA worlds.

Thanks but like I said--it's all set now. I do remember trying that and all that would happen was the game loader would open up and just start redownloading the game. I decided to just reinstall to fix the problem that the game was installed in the root of my SSD making a mess. I could really use your help with this new problem though: http://www.lcpdfr.com/topic/50648-lua-not-working/

That one that you linked to is installed. The ones that are installed are: 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013.

It just starts installing the game again, basically ignoring the existing installation. I ended up just installing it again to also fix the fact that the game did not install itself in a folder but just in the root of my SSD.
  18. What happened to the separate media forum?

Hi, I recently formatted my PC and installed Windows clean because of the malware mods. I installed GTA and everything again, and everything works including scripthook mods, but LUA mods do not work. That command prompt does not open during the game loading and LUA simply does not engage. I am running Windows 7. LUA is installed properly, as I have checked several times. I get the feeling I am missing some C++ redistributable thing as I had about 15 of them installed before I formatted. I don't know. Any ideas? Thanks.
  20. Xbox One controller support or just Xbox 360 controller support?
  21. Also, not to be critical, but the time it took to put out versions of LCPDFR seems like ages compared to how quickly you are flying through the first version of LSPDFR.
