true.. I will give that a go then.. thanks I tried what you suggested and it did not work..Instead it attempts to re download the patch every time.. Not sure why because I even followed the online guide on avoiding the update.

hmm I thought the commandline file with the line -scOfflineOnly prevented it from updating.. I will do what you suggested though.

Same issue with cops shooting my handcuffed suspect. Also what is the deal with traffic stops or accidents where cars will run you over or they will just run through the accident scene? Fellow Officers will try to ram your car out of the way while assisting you on a car chase..Be nice if they just slowed down and drove around you in both situations or a traffic cops to come redirect traffic, preferably without you having to tell them where to stand and what to do....

Suggestion: more verbal choices when you pull over suspects or talk to peds on the streets besides Hello or Insult..something like maybe "Do you know why I pulled you over or why I stopped you" same thing for giving a warning besides yelling at people. Having them step out of their car and they walk back to your patrol car for questioning..maybe place their hands on the hood of the car and you can pat them down for drugs and weapons.. During traffic stops make other traffic go around you instead of them just sitting there honking their horns and shouting at you or attempting to drive through an accident or run you down.. I know you can stop traffic with barriers, but for a more realistic approach just have traffic slow down and drive around you or call for traffic cops that will redirect traffic without you telling them what to do..so tow trucks and ambulance/fire truck or coroner can get to you with out issue.. Detaining a suspect for investigation by handcuffing and then releasing by removing the handcuffs of the suspect if determined they don't need arrested, would work great for callouts that require you to decide if someone is guilty of assault or something..maybe this is already in the game, but I haven't figured out how to do it yet.. Also when you call for police backup, it would be super super awesome if during a car chase they didn't ram you out of the way, lol, in the real world the cops don't try to ram or pit fellow officers.. For now I just get the hell out of their way. next suggestion: When you take a suspect to the police department and drop them off is there any way to make it so the cop taking the suspect out of the car doesn't just throw them to the ground and stomp on them.. first time I saw that happen. I will admit I did a wtf lol last suggestion and I don't know if this ties in with the mod or with Gtav itself, but I use a controller and it would nice to not have to push and hold the toggle stick to change the siren sounds.. maybe allow for a single press to change between sounds without having to hold the button down.. I wanted to add something else that came to my mind, it would be cool if you could update dispatch on location/situation if you are chasing a suspect on foot or vehicle chase. command a suspect over a PA system to exit their vehicle and walk backwards with hands in the air. get down on the ground and don't move..and then you go cuff em.. Of course I honestly don't know if anything I just suggested is even possible..I am not a modder, but most of the above suggestions if added would be really cool. Thanks for all the hard work, Kal
