Omg every time a new update to this comes out, I go more and more insane with excitement by the moment,. My wife always asks be about all the excitement she hears from me, but she never gets the name right.. it's either "hey how is LSDPR going" or "What is new in LPD gtav" I chuckle at her when she responds that way and then I try to explain it to her and she says "well as long as it helps you to stop cussing at the screen so much, I am happy for you" I love that woman.. If you need someone to test run the new first, I will be more than happy to do that and give honest feedback... Great Job Sam! Can't wait for this, no seriously I can't wait any longer

Bummer. Well I will just keep checking back...I feel like going over and saying "hey lspdfr devs, could you please help this modder add this in his plugin, so I don't have to keep using this boring command prompt looking thing called a computer" hehehe kidding of course.. I have more respect for people than that..

Are you able to do the same thing with RAGEcomputer? or is that more complicated than it sounds? I really love this plugin and its unfortunate that I can't use it do to the issues I was having..

Yeah that was my situation as well.. When you are on the computer screen and are typing or scrolling it causes letters that are bound to plugins to activate,, example typing j makes the siren come on, when I exit the screen the siren is on.. The letter "I" made spotlight come on. "k" Blinkers.. any key bound to something.. if you scroll with controller through the letters.. dpadleft makes the police radio open and close... I am not mad about it though.. For now I went back to the old boring LSPDFR computer and when you are in that screen searching a name it locks out every letter that is bound to a plugin from activating.. until you exit that screen...So I can type anything and it won't effect anything outside of that screen.. As you said, running out of keys to bind to is the issue as well.. I will keep checking back here though because this looks like a great plugin to have.. Maybe ask the developers over in the support section how they did it.

never played that version, will have to look at some screens from it, but anything is better than a command prompt looking computer screen. Make it look like a laptop that you see in most police cars today.

Yep, that is what I was referring to. Was wondering if it was going to get a face-lift to look more immersive I guess you can say.

no worries man,, your plugin is awesome.. I am 100% not saying that at all.. I just seem to be the only person having issues with it activating keybound plugins. Maybe someone else will come along and suggest a way around it.. Plus I don't want to be the only person posting about this issue or other issues so much, makes me look like a nag..

Question; Are you planning on updating the in car police computer for searching for suspects names?

Yeah, I was mainly hoping to change dpadleft for controller, it currently is bound to Police Radio. That is fine I will make do.. Still having issues with bound keys activating while typing on the computer with keyboard, If I use controller pressing left on the Dpadleft is causing the Police Radio to open and close over and over as I pressed dpadleft to cycle letters on the computer screen keypad while in the computer screen view..Thanks for what you do, but I think I will just go back to the old police computer, while in that screen no bound plugin keys ever activated while typing any letter, it pretty much locked out everything, even the controller, except typing letters.. This is still a great plugin though, I will prob come back eventually once I figure out how to work around the keybinds being an issue, I am guessing it's just me since nobody else is saying anything..

I agree that looks awesome!! Also, a small request, can we have a config file to change the keybinds for keyboard and controller? If not I am not worried, just asking.

@TheUniT...Thank you for answering... and Thank you Starmix for your thoughts as well..I really didn't know where to post my comment or whether or not it was my place to discuss it at all...Most of these modders will tell you first hand, people do not Read the ReadMe files nor do they search past answers, so this will be a really good change... Meanwhile I will continue to help out people on ragehook.net ..

I really don't know exactly where to post this and I didn't think messaging a developer was a good idea either, so I will just post it here and hope for the best.. I have spent the few weeks over on http://ragepluginhook.net/ helping people out as much as I can with RageHook related problems.. Kind of my way of saying thanks to the developers for all their hard work.. Anyways, about 98% of the problems are related to RPH crashing, mainly because they have downloaded LSPDFR and it comes bundled with RPH, the downside is it comes bundled with an old version of RPH version 20... Currently RPH is on version 26. The other thing happening is people are downloading the updated RPH v26 and then coming here and installing LSPDFR, overwriting the new verion of RPH with an old one and ending back up on square 1.. So that brings me to my question, finally, Is it possible to have the old version of RPH v20 removed and replaced by the most current RPH version 26 in the LSPDFR download? That would cut down the main issue people have, being on the wrong version, crashing, not knowing why, yelling for help.. If this is the wrong area for this type of post, I apologize, if this is the wrong website for this question, again I apologize.. I just want to give back in some capacity while trying to help others..
