I fixed the side "diodes" or whatever the hell you call them. I didn't like the white masking the red and blue. Looks a lot better, imo.- 36 comments

Well, to open the computer you have to be stopped, if he's hitting or holding E and they move, I assumed it was because of that. TP will make them run a red light if you honk in the process of pulling over and they're stopped at one.- 1,742 comments

Nice car, all the emissives look good with no modifications, you got all the LODs, and for me it handles well with police2 handling. So here's what I think, next model you do should be the old FBI2 Suburban you released awhile back, only this time with ELS and proper LODs. Your models have come a long way since then, props to ya.

Maybe, maybe not, horn will move a car through an intersection regardless of ELS. In fact, with Traffic Policer, they'll run a red light as well.

Well, you CAN remap your horn key... in the in-game keybindings. And that isn't ELS, that's default LSPDFR, honk horn, suspect moves.

Look on the column on the right side: ELS Compatibility ELS I don't know if it's in the readme without downloading and looking. However, it is mentioned in the comments. That model is police2, so that's sirensettings 1. You can also find that information in this topic: And I still use non-ELS cars with ELS.

^^ that is an ELS model so the sirensettings are irrelevant. And that's what I'm telling you, you can't just use or 'attach' an .XML file on a non-ELS car, doesn't work like that. I understand exactly what you're saying and I'm just letting you know that isn't how it works. I don't see where anything is being twisted.

Nope, if the model isn't designed for ELS specifically, it isn't going to be able to use ELS.

non-ELS cars don't use .xml files, that's just ELS. if you use an xml file for a non-ELS car it's gonna cause strange things like extras to disappear and reappear, etc. Non-ELS use carvariations and carcols, but I haven't seen a non-ELS model that doesn't tell you what siren it uses (whether by model or number) if it isnt "1".

Prior to ELS, I never saw a car model on here that didn't specify the siren or provide carvariations/documentation if it wasn't sirenSetting 1... now with ELS, the sirenSetting doesn't matter.

I watched an old recording I had and they actually put their hands behind their head, but same difference. It looked a lot smoother in my opinion.

0.2 had a different arrest animation which I actually preferred, where they dropped to their knees and put their hands behind their back. Seems like that could be brought back, and without any extra keys... you could have it where you just hold E longer to put them all the way down on the ground.

you'll definitely need carvariation entries for policeold1 and policeold2 though, or the cars will have dull shitty looking paint. They're designed that way by default.

just put your policeold files in patchday11ng or patch13ng, you don't need to replace the original models.

Leave them in \plugins\LSPDFR, then go on duty and they'll load. Anything that goes in \plugins\LSPDFR loads when going on duty.- 1,915 comments
