  1. Not that I approve of the police brutality that may have happened, but put yourself in the position of the officers. You've been given strict orders to clear public places from tents and camps but when you get there, you get sweared at, people throw stuff at you and some are even violent towards you. I'm sure a lot of officers agree with the views of the occupy movement but they have their job to do and unfortunately, some of these people can't be persuaded to leave unless force is used. Edit: Damn, Ninja'd
  2. Take a look at this
  3. You could also just press alt+k if you want them to leave the area. I only frisk them when they are in a suspicous area.
  4. @Iconography Indeed, tear gas and riot gear would be awesome And you're absolutely right about the children. That would just be asking for trouble.
  5. Yesterday, someone who claimed to be a journalist for a UK game magazine "leaked" some more information about the game after having seen 30 minutes of gameplay at the Rockstar development studios. Among other things, he said "No children NPC at all. Ever". However, the most interesting things he mentioned were these: 1. "The cops are much, much, much more realistic. If you kill somebody when you know there are no cops around you will not run the risk of a one star as often as you would in GTA4. The cops will use smoke and tear gas, dogs, riot gear and rams to knock down the doors of buildings you are hiding in." 2. "The game world is absolutely massive and will push both xbox and PS3 to the very limit in terms of what it has accomplished. Yes, the main city is simply Los Santos however is it AT LEAST 4 times bigger than Liberty City in GTA 4 and that is just Los Santos. The surrounding country side, beaches, etc are massive." 3. "Rockstar have included many, many more interior locations such as a shopping mall, college campus, police station, a huge hospital and there is also a vast underground sewer network" 4. "The city is full of NPCs jogging, weight-lifting, hitting on women, being chased on foot by cops, shopping, washing cars, fixing fences, moving home, filling up their cars, etc." However, these are all just rumours and can't be confirmed. It could be these are all just speculations. If you want to read all the "leaked" information: http://www.gamepur.com/news/6068-rogue-games-journalist-leaks-exclusive-gta-5-details.html Regards
  6. That's fine by me as long as you keep up the great work you're doing
  7. Yes, I knew it! Los Santos ftw!
  8. It's just keeps getting better and better.
  9. Nice work with the personalised login. Keep up the good work and let me know when you're adding new features
  10. You did already post this indeed, but it has been quite a long time. As a roleplaying enthousiast, I was excited about it then and I am still today. It's a great idea and does take the game a step further when implemented properly. Maybe you should take this to the devs? They could tell you if it could be implemented. As for a virtual police force, that could be exciting as well. Regards
  11. Just tested it out and I must say, brilliant work Sniper. This adds a whole new dimension to the mod. Keep up the good work!
  12. Not entirely sure if that was sarcasm or you impersonating a posh Brit
  13. Another leak confirmed? So this could mean the timer is another forced release?
  14. I'm trully amazed with what kind of a world we live in if some people want to have necrophilia in a game. I hope you're not planning to join any law enforcement agency because if you do, I'd change your moral compass. Regards
  15. Monty0112 posted a gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  16. A well formulated topic Iconography, although there will always be idiots who don't know how to read and keep posting useless threads. However, now we can just refer to this topic if needed and be done with it. Good work!
  17. I know Luxart has got quite a few non-ELS car mods on GPM.
  18. I'm with Iconography on this one. Although it's nice that members want to help eachother out, I think there are enough tutorials already. Btw, Iconographgy, congrats with braking the 1000 posts barrier
  19. Liberty city is a suicidal place...
  20. Glad you liked it as well
  21. Indeed, although I like May's siren better
  22. Stumbled upon an old video of Top Gear testing out their low budget, custom made police cars. Was funny as hell so thought I should share it. What would be your favourite car of the three?
  23. Was it really necessary to post 4 times in huge colored letters? As stated numerous times, there's no support for 0.95. If you're having trouble running 0.91, then go to the link Revan posted. Read all of it and make sure you've done everything that is stated in that topic. If you still experience problems, then post the logs and wait for support from other members. We can't help you if you don't give us exact information. Iconography does a great deal of support so he might be able to help you out when you post your logs and specs.
  24. Although I completely agree with the fact that people should stop whining, I don't think it's necessary, like some regular members are doing, to put "no support..." in their signatures and reply to every 0.95 support topic. Leave that to the mods and devs and let them deal with it as they should be: just locking these topics. There's no need to do bug reports as well since the testers are doing this extensively and it is unlikely you'll find a bug they haven't already. Like echo04 said, just play the beta with its bugs and wait for the final release. I don't mean to bash people who only want to follow the forum rules and be supportive to others but as far as 0.95 support requests go, I think it's best to leave that to the mods and devs.
