  1. It's not allowed to distribute original game files so I doubt anybody will give you their files or provide you with a link. I suggest you take a look at gtapolicemods or GTAIV mods for some uniforms or reinstal the game to revert back to the original. Regards
  2. Same here. When trying to login, it says incorrect details and I'm 100% sure I use the correct details since I use the system quite often.

  4. What I do when I play a certain unit, say for instance drug enforcement or NOOSE, is use the force callout option (ALT + F11). That way I can force a callout that fits my unit. When I play as a NOOSE officer, I just press ALT+F11 until I get a shootout or a gang hideout. The other NOOSE officers in these videos are indeed bodyguards, spawned with SNT.
  5. There's your problem. Never save while on duty. This corrupts your savegame. Try starting a new game on a vanilla copy of GTA IV and then report back.
  6. One, this is in the wrong section, so I'm sure the mods won't be happy. Two, this has been discussed in dozens of topics. Anyway, I'll say it again, make sure your GTA IV folder is not read-only. Right click the Grand Theft Auto IV folder, uncheck read-only, click apply and ok. Then try reinstalling the mod.

  8. Did you reinstal the entire game without adding mods? You shouldn't have any problems playing vanilla GTA IV. If you have, then you have another problem as Gnat said. Also, did you by any chance save your game while on duty?
  9. Red coats for sure. Nothing beats the sight of a red coat army marching to the tune of the British Grenadiers. Would this question be related to empire or napoleon total war in any way?

  11. Well, you can find some good free trial software on the web but some of those will only show you some deleted data and you won't be able to use the recoverd data unless you purchase the full version. I would recommend "Easy recovery pro", "Getdataback" or "File Scavenger". Those will probably be able to recover some data although I wouldn't put your hopes up since you reinstalled windows as well but it's wort a shot i guess. I would advise you to read this topic:http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/51446-14-recover-data-format. That will probably help you out.
  12. That's what I do most of the time as well. It comes in handy whenever I play as a certain unit, e.g. drug enforcement. That way I can force specific call-outs like drug deal or mugging. Enhances the roleplay, I guess
  13. To my knowledge, the default police cars have no traffic advisor lightbar so I'm pretty sure he's using a car mod. Some car mods require ELS to be able to use the lightbar but I'm sure Tom will explain that to you.
  14. Agreed. The world is massive and it was by far the best story in a game. There are only two games who really made me feel connected with the protagonist and that's RDR and god of war. DLC was good, in my opinion. It certainly was worth it's money. 15 euros for 6 hours of story, new weapons, outfits and zombies is nothing compared to the garbage you get when paying 20 euros for Call of duty DLC.
  15. Tom is right. Some calls only happen in certain parts of the city and if you drive in one area, most calls you'll get are going to be in your vicinity. Another thing you could do is press Alt+F11 to force a call-out that you're happy with. Regards
  16. Very nice find In all these years that I've played GTA IV, and I owned it from day one on PS3, I've never seen that before. This is what makes open world games so great.
  17. Well, to be honest, I don't know what you mean exactly. Could you give us a bit more information regarding what you've done precisely? Did you replace a default car with a mod?
  18. Sorry for going off-topic but I have to say this. SOPA was nothing compared to ACTA, I'm afraid. Sopa was only dealing with copyright material on the internet. ACTA allows governments to check everyone's surfing history without permission and allows them to ban everyone/everything from the internet. http://en.wikipedia....ication_process ACTA has been signed by the US, Japan, Europe and Australia so it's a matter of time unfortunately. Anonymous hacked the EU site last night because of ACTA. Now, on topic: I don't want to discourage you since it's a good idea and you sound motivated but the competition will be hard, I'm afraid. However, I wish you all the best
  19. Glad you managed to make it work
  20. Try adjusting the mouse sensitivity and removing any mods other than LCPDFR. If that doesn't help, I'd suggest a reinstall.
  21. Just read this: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=452840 "How to use xliveless to load savegames" It contains some links to 100% savegames as well. Regards
  22. Hmm, you could send a pm to "Interference", asking for some help. He is on the LCPDFR testing team and he changed the lawyer office to a police station (), so he might know which files you want to change and where to put them.
