I know here in southern calif they choose to outfit all the units with go rhino or setina push bumpers on the tahoes and rams, and I think they look slick as hell, but I can understand how BLM sups there shit up nice as well, I've seen (met) a couple rangers out this way and they have tricked out rigs. But anyway, yeah I would say honestly go for how you'd want it to be, after all this is (basically) free, doesn't cost $3000 for a Warn, or $540 for a gorhino! Lol

Maybe you could put a push bumper with a winch, and add some Off-road leds or a code 3 speaker?
