But you shouldn't have to move them around. download them, click on them, install them. once they're installed RagePluginHook will see that they're installed and recognize them

Those files shouldn't be in your GTA Directory, they should be installed on your computer.

If you're having issues with registering on their website you'll have to contact their Staff about that. Also. type those into google and download them (what's written there is literally their file names). This topic has been moved to the appropriate forum. Giving files or releasing to sites to download game files aren't allowed here, as it's considered piracy. the only way you can retrieve those files is if you reinstall your game.

There has been many topics on this. but no, it's not what "we've" been waiting for.. i haven't heard about that game since last year, there's been nothing about it anywhere.. thought it died to be honest, For me it's well.. not something i am interested in buying nor do i care about that game.

THis won't happen for a couple reasons. 1. it's too realistic, not everyone plays it realistic so they'll be turned off of the mod because of it 2. it's been said many times a ranking system wouldn't be implemented having everything availbe at anytime for everyone is better and 3. there will be no changes to LCPDFR as it's no longer being developed the only changes that would be made are stability changes to make it more stable, nothing as major as this. the Development Team are busy working on LSPDFR and aren't focused on LCPDFR. I should also point out the Development Team are no longer accepting suggestions for LCPDFR.

dsound.dll is probably better, the only difference between dsound and xlive is that with xlive you can use downloaded save games, but the online aspect is disabled. nevermind it doesn't matter since we know what the problem is, no more screenshots are required. but like ineseri said, you should always read the manual/documents that come with the item.. especially if it's a manual install. =) Hopefully now you can play LCPDFR! =D

You don't drag and drop the entire LCPD First Response folder, you open it up, highlight all the contents and put them into your GTA directory so they're out of the LCPD First Response folder. This is why i recommend the automatic installer.. it doesn't mess up. Also, i wanted a screenshot of what's past/below that file.. not of that file itself =)

We only needed the GTA IV directory, not screenshot of the process =P Can you also provide a screenshot for files past the GTAIV.exe.cdf file? knowing the rest of the files would be helpful :D

Yes your root directory is where all your GTA is installed. and by instructions ineseri means the instructions in my first comment (a screenshot is required)

if you've installed it manually then there is a good chance you've installed a file wrong. download and install LCPDFR 1.1 automatic installer and try that.

Did you install it right? Rockstar have put files in different places so make sure you read the read me that comes with the model to know exactly where to install it. Just make sure you're editing that file in your mods folder and not the vanilla game file (it'll update/rewrite your file otherwise)

They are part of LSPDFR.. all the API plugins you see integrate with LSPDFR so they work with LSPDFR. so it is one huge LSPDFR development. This is most likely the reason why that by default you have 2 callouts because the Development Team can focus less time on callouts and more time on other things (callouts are left for the community to create)

Just try it out to see if it works for you first. I don't know if there is a difference in the Steam or Retail version. just disable your internet and load your game up. if you get the message then you can play offline. If it's through Steam, then you may need to run Steam in offline mode for it to work, i don't know since i'm Retail :D

You should, If your internet is disabled it should run normally.. however a pop up will come onto your desktop before it loads the game saying you're not connected and should give you the option to play offline. Like this:
