You don't really get shot in the LS county, normally if you fire a gun you get a wanted level (that always happens to me). sometimes a dog might attack you.. the only time people get pissed off at you is if you disrespect them or if you steal their car. mainly the biggest problems with attacks in the countryside is from the rednecks (however you can kill them which is required for a random event) and cougars (they kill you with one hit.. unless you use Trevor's special ability)

If you're talking about the forum games.. then they're just there for the community to have some fun, just a nice way to interact with the other community members. it's actually quite fun, i have loved seeing these new forum games opening =)

Ok, now since you have a legit copy. we can help you solve your problems =) Welcome to the LCPD:FR community by the way. for us to help you solve your problems, you'll need to answer the following questions. 1) are you running the game as admin? Right click on your gta icon - Run As Administrator 2) Do you have any other mods apart from LCPD:FR installed? 3) could you attach your LCPD:FR log files, Advancedhook log files and a screenshot of your directory? if you don't know where your log files are, they're in your GTA 4 directory (where it was installed). 4) is your game patched to 1.0.7.0? 5) when your installed LCPD:FR 1.0c did you do the automatic or manual installation?

From information from you previous topic (which was 3 hours ago) here - you admitted to be using a cracked/torrented version of GTA 4. We simply don't give support to people who are using a torrented/cracked version of the game. Unless you have purchased the game via retail or digital within those 3 hours then we'll gladly help you.

To be honest, i was thinking of the same idea. it's realistic and normal for an officer to call for an additional unit to assist at a traffic stop (especially if he is patrolling on his own) i would like to see this added. Maybe you call for an addition unit, they spawn a little bit behind you, drive down and park in front of the stopped car (suspects car), they get out and wait by their car. if the suspect/stopped person starts to shoot then obviously the additional unit will shoot. maybe also add a command for them to leave if you no longer require their assistance and when the traffic stop is over.

What a bunch of pigs -.- i really hate when police officers don't do their job.. they're put on the front line to PROTECT and SERVE the public, keep the streets safe (in this instance.. from drug dealers). what these officers have done is the complete opposite. it really gives all the other good officers a bad name

It's kinda true, Police Departments and Sheriffs Office generally don't like their insignia, liveries,uniforms etc used in videogames that may potray them wrong. for example if you use an LAPD crown vic and you plow down 20 people in GTA 4 they wouldn't like it because they're being portrayed in a wrong/disrespectful way that could reflect badly on their department. you won't get into trouble, if they take action you'll be sent a letter or email requesting for you to take them down. However it's extremely rare for you to get into "trouble". they don't deal with stuff like this. so you're safe feel free to upload your skins whenever, the thousands of other modders haven't gotten in trouble for releasing their work, so i doubt you'll get into trouble.

Once your diagnostic tool opens up and it locates your game folder it should come up like how it is in my attached picture, if it's like that, click on the Open Folder button then locate your GTA folder again. Have you tried running the diagnostic tool that came with LCPD:FR 1.0? if there is a problem with the LCPD:FR files then it should show up in the diagnostic check.

It's actually good to decide in advance. that way you'll know what type of parts you'll need to get and the price range of it, i had my PC planned 4-5 months before i actually got the money to buy it. i had a knowledge of the price range of the parts i'll need so i got the money together. it's good to plan ahead so you'll know you'll have the money rather than waiting until the time comes just to find out you don't have enough money for the parts.

The worst thing about LCPD:FR is the AI driving.. they suck. also.. crashing, although it's not because of LCPD:FR but i'm blaming it because it always crashes when it gets good.. It's like LCPD:FR knows i'm going to a good callout so it decided to screw me over =(

In general: The best thing would have to be the mod iteself, i have always loved law enforcement so a mod/game that lets me play a police officer is definitly what i'll play. How it transforms GTA from the gritty, crime riddled backstory to a being a police officer patrolling the streets is remarkable. LCPD:FR is the only reason i play GTA 4 anymore. LCPD:FR 0.95: Definitly the funny names.. i used to laugh when i saw the weird and quirky names LCPD:FR generated when doing a traffic stop. LCPD:FR 1.0c: the coffee feature returning, plus the whole re-work of the script to make it even better than it was.

Hmm, it seems that the mod can't find a whole bunch of stuff that is needed for LCPD:FR. Are you sure you installed it right? uninstall LCPD:FR 1.0c and reinstall it. if the problem still exists then something is being screwed up during the automatic installation process (considering you're using the auto-installer). Try the manual installer and follow this guide - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> that way it should install properly since it's all manual and you'll follow the guide correctly.

If it can't find your installed game, then you'll need to find it.. so use the browse option, go to where your game is installed Disc version is My Computer - Program Files x86 - Rockstar Games - Grand Theft Auto IV (or Episodes From Liberty City if you're using EFLC) If you're using Steam version then it'll be - My Computer - Program Files x86 - Steam - Steam Apps - GTA IV (or GTA EFLC if you're using the EFLC game). after it is detected you'll be able to install it. An alternative is to download the manual install version of LCPD:FR 1.0c and install it manually by using this guide - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

This error is only in the 0.95 version of LCPD:FR, a version which is no longer being supported for. Please completely uninstall LCPD:FR 0.95 and install the latest version of LCPD:FR (which is 1.0c) from here - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

It's behind the Downtown Cab Co. If you do the Prisoner Lift #2 Random Event, you'll need to go there anyway because the prisoner is a Lost MC member. so if you do that it'll be easier to find. But if you have already done it, it's in West Vinewood behind the Downtown Cab Co.

Apart from Abraxas i don't think there is any, i noticed this when i was deciding just to stick with default cars to stop my game from crashing.. kinda sucks really that nobody has decided to make some more textures for the default cars =(

It's most likely being caused by your ENB, try removing it. your computer might not be able to handle the ENB, or you simply have just installed it wrong.

Yeah, use VLC player, the only time i ever use Windows Media Player is if the media/movie file isn't supported for VLC Player (which is mostly .mkv format).
