What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?
-Recovering/seizing a vehicle (simply despawn the car) -Traffic cones spawning -People randomly swearing and shouting in the street (similar to the preachers found in the game) -People walking around with knifes -Can peds hold and throw bricks or glass bottles like the player? If so, a violent demonstration with bricks/glass bottles and even a Molotov or two being used -People walking around with bottles -An ALT+K variant that will cause drivers to turn around and go back the way they came Probably not possible but I'd also like to see the ability to grapple with a person.

Yes indeed. Much like the persons details, you'll need to first generate a licence/number plate then run your checks using it. Although a person will be assigned as the vehicle owner and there will be named drivers also. I'm going to keep it realistic, so it will list if valid insurance, MOT/vehicle safety check (I don't know if insurance and MOT are mandatory in the US, someone will need to advise me), road tax etc is held, sometimes these will show as not being renewed or even purchased. And of course a vehicle licence check will need to be added to persons check so we can check if the driver is qualified to do so. May also include a random list of passenger details based on how many (if any) you say are in the car you stop. But it will not list any vehicle particulars for obvious reasons.

For those who need it...
It breaches the Licence agreement you agreed to when buying the game and unless you have permission from the Copyright holder (i.e. Rockstar) you can't distribute their work in whole or in part. Fun fact, LCPD:FR and all other modifications to the game also breaches the Licence Agreement which states you must not in whole or in part modify the software in any way.

Liberty City Police - an LCPD:FR Roleplay Group
We can look at Teamspeak if Ventrilo is going to be an issue. However Ventrilo offers superior capabilities for setting up a radio like system. Also I don't have much experience with Teamspeak. The aim of the group is to simulate a real working police department, a large chunk of the job is paperwork. We will play it by ear in terms of completing paperwork. You won't be asked to write large paragraphs, the amount of detail you put into your inquiries is up to you - but for the time being you will be asked to complete relevant paperwork. After all, It adds to the experience. And can I ask everyone to be courteous please. I don't mean to be an ogre, but I do not appreciate posts with no contribution to the topic. Feel free to ask any relevant questions or raise any relevant issues here.

______________________________ INTRODUCTION Liberty City Police is now accepting applications for the role of Police Officer. Do you enjoy role-playing on LCPD:FR? Why not take that experience a step further and join like-minded individuals in Liberty City Police! We aim to realistically simulate a working police force tasked with policing Liberty City. We are going to focus our work in Bohan alone to begin with. Of course our duties may take us to other areas of the city at times which is perfectly fine. I would encourage you to read more about us here:- Liberty City Police: About ______________________________ BENEFITS OF JOINING Bohan offers a fantastic level of diversity for such a small section of the city which provides fantastic opportunities for our roleplay. We can offer each and every member a realistic and fun experience with opportunities to further your work within the service. We employ a range of real-world procedures and protocols to ensure our roleplay is guided and remains within the realism spectrum. We will be making use of the custom police computer system (mdc.lcpdfr.com) and there will be extras available to LCPD officers only. The system will remain accessible to the public which simulates other agencies working in Liberty City along side us. We have carefully selected vehicles from both sides of the pond. Our main vehicle fleet consists of the Crown Victoria, Dodge Charger, Volvos, BMWs and a couple of other Fords. All of our vehicles are painted in a unique, modern livery and are clearly marked for their specific uses. All officers upon being accepted will be given sufficient training and guidance to help them progress and become an efficient Police Officer. ______________________________ REQUIREMENTS As with any type of group we do have some requirements which we ask be satisfied before you may join. Right I had a play around and I figured out the setting in ENB which controls the transparency of the light and ram bars is "OpacityMultiplier" under "[CARWINDOWGLASS]". Fixed!

There are police barriers that you can spawn with the trainer. They should be able to allow spawning of those through LCPD:FR. The only problem being cars just slam into them and if you turn your back, cars will magically get through the barrier! But still spawning them would be better than nothing. If they could sort out the problems that would be a plus.

Have you tried editing the handling? I find raising the car's mass and the centre of gravity stops it rolling.

Dispatcher tools are now complete, they can now add generic calls and locations to the database, they can also pass calls with extra detail to officers and add notes. mdc.lcpdfr.com/news.php Dispatchers remember to keep the calls you add vague without detail/descriptions. This way your call can be re-used effectively. It will be the job of any on duty dispatchers to add detail before passing the call to an available resource. Also keep locations you add re-usable and in the correct format.

Quick update before I head off - I've overhauled the way the calls work. They will now select a random vague/generic incident and assign a random location also. This means there will be a greater variety of calls and locations around the city. However as the calls are now not very specific, it's up to dispatchers to add appropriate detail before passing the call and/of officers to use a bit of imagination. E.g. Original call is male assaulted - dispatcher adds a description and a little story of how the assault took place, taking into account the location. And if the location is quite vague, they can also add specifics if they want to e.g. house number 106 at south side. The dispatcher stuff is still being re-done and I'll post back once completed.
