​Well, to be perfectly honest, the first Battlefront games were also quite similar to the Battlefield franchise. The different units corresponded to the sniper/soldier/medic of Battlefield, the ships and vehicles to the aircrats and vehicles of Battlefield, the game modes to capture different points to reduce enemy reinforcement as well. So of course it's going to be close to the Battlefield franchise. But you are right to fear how EA will hold DICE and what they are going to push them to do. After all:

Star Wars Battlefront II was probably one of the Star Wars games I spent the most time on along with Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic I & II. Looking forward to this game, hopefully we'll be able to switch between on ground and space battles without loading (a bit like in Star Wars Battlefront Elite Squadron on PSP). I dream to pick up a X-Wing on ground and fly in the atmosphere and eventually leave it to take part to the orbital battle. And hopefully the first person view which will be available with the third person view will give access to modelized cockpits. It'd be awesome.

Les logs Advanced Hook et Scripthook semblent clean, de même pour les logs LCPDFR. Je pense que le problème vient en effet d'un script ou d'un mod installé. Pense aussi à désactiver la sauvegarde automatique, la plupart du temps ça apporte plus de problèmes que ça n'en résout. Ah, et aussi: ENLEVE POLICE HELPER. Police Helper est en grande partie incompatible avec LCPDFR depuis sa version 1.0, utiliser le Police Helper avec les versions récentes -fera- crash ton jeu, c'est inévitable. Tu peux garder le tow truck et le medical examiner, utilise juste leurs raccourcis directs.

I've seen that on the news here in France (with a better quality video). What I don't understand is why an old man was still serving along the police department, how he managed to mistake his weapon with his taser (which are shaped differently, with different colors and different weights), why no one tried to rescue the suspect who was on the ground bleeding to death, why no officer tried to help him survive (that's part of their job too), and why they actually participated in his death (because yes, the suspect died afterwards). That makes no sense, all the officers involved here are at fault for what happened. And that old man who managed to mistake his pistol with his taser... Wish I could shove his taser up his ass so he'd finally make the different between the two.

​I'm aware of that, but my point is it shouldn't be such a big deal for some. At the very end it's still a fictional universe and we have to consider it as part of the lore.

Install only LCPDFR and see if it works. If it does, try adding your previously installed mods one by one, and check in game to see if it still works every time you add something to the game. You can't magically know what is causing this.

What is troubling you exactly? For example the NYPD has a highway division, I don't see what is so wrong about having Los Santos Highway Patrol.

​Many people also didn't have their issue fixed by updating their drivers, as many people (me included) updated their drivers to the newest released especially for GTA V release way before playing the game for the first time. The stuttering might be linked to the page file of the hard drive which is used for when the RAM is fully used. Problem is it loads way slower, causing the stuttering when driving cars (as the stuttering actually doesn't occur when on foot). France here, and I got the retail copy of GTA yesterday. The 5GB patch got downloaded in a couple hours, my speed download from Rockstar servers was of an average 1.65Mb/s (which is good since I usually download stuff at 800Kb/s). Are you sure the problem is not on your end? I also noticed that sometimes the download speed slowed down to ridiculous speeds, but pausing and resuming the download was fixing this.

The game also has a large problem of memory leak it seems. Many people posted on Rockstar websites about experiencing stuttering in game after a variable ammount of time even though their rig is way above the recommended. The hard drive keeps loading data while playing, making the game having small sutters of 0.5-2 seconds depending on the computer. Many people hope for a patch for this, me included as I experience this stuttering as well after roughly half an hour of game.

Just had to face a problem of overheating that made my entire computer freeze (forcing me to unplug the power supply), it's been neat. Managed to reach 35-45FPS on my mid end rig, so I'm rather satisfied.

To the poster above me: if you plan to quote this everytime someone is asking this question, it's really going to start being annoying. Also, the "Disk scratched = fucked" is a totally false argument as you can download GTA V from the Rockstar Games Social Club once you've linked your account to the retail copy you bought. tl;dr - don't copy/paste everything you see, it's awkward, especially for you.

​1/ The disks aren't ugly, you THINK they are ugly. That's your opinion, don't make it an absolute truth. 2/ Those are the disks and the packaging that I received this morning, and it looks pretty neat to me.
