  1. He was parked on an handicaped parking slot. On top of being an impersonator idiot, he's also taking the parking spot of people who might need it more than him. Unless being mentally challenged does count as a handicap, in which case my bad.
  2. Yes I did. Doesn't change the fact that when it comes to modding, both the retail and the Steam version are IDENTICAL. So do not vehicule false information, 's all I'm saying.
  3. Just because YOU have problems doesn't mean it's the case for everyone else. The retail version and Steam version are absolutely identical in any point. So advising people to take one or the other version saying one is harder to mod than the other is wrong, and a lie.
  4. That's wrong. Both versions are identical to mod. I've the retail versions and I never had to do any extra step for something to work. So NO. The Steam version isn't better. They're the same. The things to think about when deciding what version to buy is your download speed. If you've a good download speed and you can download the 65GB of data of the game quickly, then feel free to go for Steam. If you don't have a that good connection, buy the retail version to have all the game on CDs, takes less time to install/reinstall. There's also the price. GTA V on Steam is stupidly expensive, for less than $40/£40/euros you can have the retail version in stores.
  5. 'Course I'm back. My forced haitus came to an end. I won't say anything about it. But it involved chains and lots of whips because I've been a bad boy.
  6. That's a bit of bad faith right there. They didn't review it like "OMG BAD SCREENSHOTS 1 STAR". They also said the livery was low resolution, and the writing on one of the sides is awfully placed (which should be something easily avoided considering it's literally the only thing present on the side). I also can see really badly shaped edges for the blue paint on the sides and lightly stretched, which adds to the 'cons' of the skin. So they don't give reviews "based off of quality of screenshots".
  7. You might want to correct that title.
  8. With that many civilians around and a moving target in a vehicle, cops wouldn't have the chance to get an opportunity to shoot at the guy, too many risks to harm an innocent guy standing on the side. The only good opportunity was when he tried several times to break the doors at the beginning and even then, I'm pretty sure american cops would have tried to break the window with nightsticks first before shooting.
  9. Specialized forums for computers would also be a better place to ask this kind of things.
  10. Except that as I said earlier, that particular model DOES NOT have an ELS config file, that's the problem.
  11. That model apparently is lacking an ELS config file, so you might want to ask directly the author about that.
  12. You've to rename the ELS config file as well, or change it accordingly. If the car was designed to be in the police3 slot, every file or line where it says police3 should be changed to the name of the slot you want the car in.
  13. I like the cars. Too bad the liveries are kinda... weird, to say the least.
  14. Do you at least have ELS installed? This model requires the ELS mod for the lights to work properly.
  15. If your game crashes even without Ragehook, that means the files of your game got corrupted. Which means you failed the installation of a car mod or something like that. So the solution is to delete your mods folder (that you should have if you followed the many tutorials on the internet) and start the game again without Ragehook to see if it works. If you don't have a mods folder or if it keeps crashing, then use the repair function (if you've the retail version of the game) or the verifying game cache function (in your game properties on Steam) to fix it. And if it still crashes, enjoy the reinstallation.

    With all other patchday folders.
  17. A finnish metal band. Not any finnish metal band, it's Hevisaurus, a metal band for kids. Yes, for kids. Their audience is around 10-12 years old. They're so popular in Finland that there's figurines of them for the kids, and they even released a movie about how the band came together in 2014 ( of course it's pure fantasy, it's a kids movie, but you know). Maybe if our kids listened to this kind of music instead of shitty stuff like Nicki Minaj and the like, their generation wouldn't be so screwed.
  18. Hey, welcome back. Always enjoyed your skin packs on GTA IV, looking forward your GTA V creations.

The RDE folder where all the car models are located.
  20. Yes, your logs would help, and did you try opening the game without Ragehook to see if you had an infinite loading screen still?
  21. To be honest this doesn't work for me. Either I do receive notifications, or I don't at all, no matter the preferences I choose when I follow a file.
  22. I don't really see why you'd need to upgrade a computer that is barely one year old personally...
  23. Hystery replied to liamxxs's topic in Legacy
The process to replace the cars is exactly the same, just in different folders.
  24. When the dev team is ready, they'll eventually give us a translation tool like they did for LCPDFR. For now the mod is only in v0.3, there's a lot of development to do.
