  1. You're welcome.
  2. Such a shame, what number is that now, 60 something, 70, 80?! R.I.P
  3. We're gonna need more information then that, bud! Which files, do other mods works, nothing, or just nothing ELS related works? The more information you give, the more information we can give back to fix it.
  4. I'm sure you would have already used the disc for your drivers, hopefully. The 635 uses the same drivers as the 630. You can download the latest driver here. Edit: BlackJesus, I LOVE your gif.
  5. As your first car? Madness. Anyway, here's my "ride". '06 VW Golf. 2.0 145bhp. Different view.
  6. You missed the silent, and invisible "k". Good try though. Wolfgagn. Shit.
  7. In short, no. Check Ridgerunner's profile for a more detailed reason as to why and more information.
  8. What I'm meaning is that it's by the same developer, same game, so surly there must be similar code or whatever s needed within the games, to do similar things, hopefully
  9. It's hit and miss. I've re-installed IV an unimaginable amount of times, and I always install the same mods however, some fresh installs with the mods I can play for a good hour, and other installs, I crash on the loading screen or 5 minutes into playing. Like CRAWFORD said, mods are VERY difficult in terms of compatibility. I myself use Abraxa's mods (coroner, towing, policehelper) and rarely crash due to those. There is more chance of someone releasing a similar mod then update those in question. All I can suggest is, if you scripts mods do crash whilst in game and don't crash you game, press " ' " or sometimes " ` " and write, "reloadscripts". This will restart scripts, fixing most errors and you'll just have to simply start the mods up again.
  10. You did see such a mod. If it was possible for SA, why not IV?
  11. Okay, if that still doesn't work I'm at a lost seeing as your lcpdfr is working. Also, you defo have a scripthook don't you? Edit: It seems many people are having problems with the firstperson mods and the latest first person mods. The mod works for me though, strange stuff.
  12. Well, seeing as none else has offered their help, I'll give you a few things to do (not promising they'll help). First off, depending on your specs (high, mid, low end) you may be crashing due to too many cars in the pursuit. You can either, reduce the amount of police cars in the pursuit via the LCPDFR.ini in the first group of options, or better yet, turn off AI ELS via the ELS.ini. If that doesn't work, check your scripts folder. You haven't mentioned which scripts you have. In the AdvancedHook.log, there's talk of a ".dll" which I believe is something to do with scripts, although I'm not entirely sure. I try not to use too many scripts myself, and I can't tell you which will/won't crash you game, but take into account the vdH mods (Towing Service, Coroner, PoliceHelper) are all unsupported for 1.0 and PoliceHelper in particular crashes fairly often. So you may want to remove those. Like you said, it may just be the skins you recently installed, although I find it hard to believe that the skins would be responsible for a crash. If you skins are ridiculously HQ though, then they may be an issue. Along with removing the skins also remove any mods that were installed recently prior to the crashes happening. Finally, I can't help you any further then suggesting you re-install IV and your mods. Hope something works for ya! Edit: Punctuation.
  13. I too have had problems with the mod in the link. Try these two, here and here. Oh, also, if this doesn't work, it may be you asi loader. Try using xlive rather then dsound, and vice-versa.

  19. That's what he's on about. He'd like to know how to remove the black line. I'm not expert, and I've only added to a vehicle rather then edit it. I don't imagine you could remove the black line, but if you could, I'd suggest: You download an unlocked DSF cvpi, opening it in Zmodeler (presuming you have it already), then go down the hierarchy checking/unchecking boxes until it goes.
  20. If the game is forcing a lower resolution, then it almost certainly a problem with the exportation of the texture. Ensure that you resolution isn't super high. I believe the max for IV is something stupid like 4000x4000, but you may have even higher!
