  1. True. The person below me hates people that hate Crown Victorias.
  2. The birthday boy always gets the first slice, you should know better by now!
  3. False. I'm not big on spicy foods. The person below me prefers Ford over Dodge.
  4. Today is c13's birthday, so be sure to wish him a happy birthday! Thanks for everything you've done around here. I'd gift you a game on Steam, but my Wallet is empty!
  5. When I was younger, I was part of a GTA IV Xbox Modding Clan. It was called the Original clan. My old name was Original Engine, but I eventually changed it to Original Light. Some of the people in the clan were Original Tropix, Original Stealth, Original Neos, Original Tonx, and some other guys. This was about 2010 - 2011. Ever since then, my Xbox Live name has remained Original Light. I had to create another account called Original Light1, since I forgot the password to the Original Light acccount when I accidentally deleted it (trying to modify Modern Warfare 3). I formatted my USB, forgetting that my account was on it! But anyway, on most internet forums and sites in general my name is Original Light. The meaning behind my name? Well, Original Light could mean first light, big bang, etc. But I never created the name with that meaning behind it, it was more so for the clan.
  6. A big welcome again to the new staff members.
  7. Looks great. But the outer red/blue lights should be steady burn, like real California emergency vehicles.
  8. Please don't thread hijack, create your own topic instead.
  9. Yeah, those were my thoughts when I saw the ad, but it's not bad at all.
  10. Hey everyone, I just discovered a new action-comedy police procedural television series called Taxi Brooklyn. From what I've seen from the first episode, it's going to be a good series. I also should add that this show is great for people who like the Crown Victoria, since the main character drives a pimped-out cab, and many police vehicles are Crown Victoria's as well. The start of the first episode has a great chase too. I'd recommend it. Nick
  11. Peds killed, distance driven, total playing time, shooting accuracy, etc. Those statistics change when playing LCPDFR, so why not save?
  12. MODERATOR NOTICE Topic moved to Grand Theft Auto IV/ Support/ Support Requests
  13. You could just buy the parts, and I'm willing to bet a local computer shop would build it for you if you pay them, if you really don't want to assemble it. That's probably the route I would go myself, since I don't have the patience for building computers and I'm not the most experienced.
  14. There's no need to be so harsh. Just because he has high specs doesn't mean he's trying to brag, he may just want advice. Please try to keep this a friendly and welcoming environment.
  15. As far as I know, it won't show in screenshots. Maybe there is a way, but I've personally never heard of a fix. Otherwise, it's just one of those bugs you have to deal with. It isn't too noticeable, but I understand how it can get annoying.
  16. Nice thread bump. This topic is nearly a year old! Anyway, it can't hurt to bring this discussion back. I don't think R* hates modifications, because a few times on the Newswire, they showcased GTA IV mods, including a zombie apocalypse script: http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/18541/zombie-invasion-mod-for-gtaiv-pc.html That's proof alone that they don't hate mods, otherwise they wouldn't share that video and promote the mod. If only LCPDFR was showcased on the Newswire, that would be nice...
  17. Just like my aunt and uncle work for Rockstar Games!
  18. Hopefully nothing too serious will happen. It would be nice if they could fix most issues before then, like they did before Y2K occurred.
  19. I thought he was referring to the fact that in 2010, the CVPI VIN changed from P71 to P7B, hence the B in CVBPI. Anyway, nice car.
  20. Can you drive the Caprice police cruisers, or are they only objects in the street?
  21. Thanks for reading my mind. It's probably better that I didn't respond, since I probably would've thrown my computer out the window. Anyway, I'd like to see Vice City again. And if that's the case, hopefully it's set in the 1980's, since it would be nice to see a recreation of 1980's Miami with all of the new technological advancements made since Vice City and Vice City Stories. My second choice would be a modern day Vice City.
  22. This is great news indeed. I was starting to lose hope, especially after seeing RDR never being ported, I worried about GTA V following the same path, ever since they only initially announced the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Hopefully there's some extra content (more animals, more soundtrack for the radio, new cars, new weapons, missions/ side activities, etc.) that aren't on the console versions. If it's moddable, it would be great to have LSPDFR, which should be possible with the very skilled and talented LMS. I bet he could do it even if the game had the most idiotic, stupid, always online DRM and modding preventions. Even if it means only being able to play offline, and absolutely mutating the game's internal files and systems to allow single player mods. Modders will always find a way, they always do. Overall, I'm glad it's finally been announced, even if it's a bit later than we hoped. Having already played GTA V twice on Xbox 360, I'm still very excited for this improved version of GTA V, and the mods that will hopefully follow it. /inspirational speeh
