Most officers making under $45-50k pay-grade, will probably have extra jobs (security, light-industrial, carpentry, painter, etc…), especially if they have families. Make sure your video drivers are updated, and that framework packages are updated as well.

Do you have any ENB/ICE mods installed? If so, the enbsettings.ini or icesettings.ini files have some improper settings causing this issue.

The only way to run GTA 4 on Mac is with Parallels or Boot Camp running Windows. Anyhow, I would not suggest Mac for this type of gaming... trust me!!!!

I'm only using the ICE shaders... PR8 and ENB make up the bulk of the mix. FYI: The file will be available this Thursday, per email request. Please understand, you must have a beefy PC on running everything at the levels that I'm achieving.

It's a shoehorned port of its console brethren... poor memory pooling and very CPU dependent. That aside, it's not a total slideshow (unplayable), you just have to baby it a little.

Have your local animal control unit swing by and set a critter friendly trap. Once trapped, they will (should) release the animal in a nonresidential area, preferably a very woodsy area reserved for animals.
