LCPD:FR is a awesome modification for GTA IV. Without it, GTA IV would just be nothing. It's fun being something else than just Niko the guy who gets released from prison after all the stuff he does.

I have never seen or heard this happen before. You could try to uninstall the game and re-install it and then get the updater provided by R* and run it again. Are you trying to update the game through steam? Or did you get Rockstar's updater they provided? If you have the steam version of the game and did not already make a Rockstar Games folder in your Documents, you can try that. You just make the Rockstar Games folder, copy & paste all files from the steam GTA IV folder into the Rockstar Games folder you made. Before doing all this, make sure you used the R* provided Updater here: https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/200145406-Grand-Theft-Auto-IV-Patch-7-Title-Update-v-1-0-7-0-English-1-0-6-1-Russian-1-0-5-2-Japanese- Hopefully this works.

After seeing some comparisons, I will go with a GTX Card. Thank you for suggesting a much better card or I would have made a big mistake!

Thanks! Now working! When following the tutorial by Y0LTEX, I found some faults that were made and got a clean start. There wern't that many vehicles I replaced so it will take me only a couple of minutes to do so. Thanks you, Chester199.

Hello, I am having a problem replacing a car model (police2) in GTA IV. The problem isn't that I find out how to it, its when I do it. Allow me to explain for your understanding. I first open the program OpenIV and go under the vehicals.img and search, police. It shows police and police2. When I try to replace police.wft and wtd. It works, shows in-game and on the OpenIV Model Viewer. When I try to replace police2.wft and wtd. It doesn't really work, it shows that it is replaced in the OpenIV Model Viewer, but not in-game! What is going on? I have also clicked the Rebuild option and 2 diffrent models, still nothing. Please help ASAP! Thanks. ~OfficerAndrew

I agree with SuperStumpje, You have to replace a cop, fatcop, noose, etc. model with a female police model and (if you want) replace the sound/voice file(s) as well. Its very easy, just get a female cop model, install what needs to be installed, and then do one or the other what SuperStumpje said what other people do. It's pretty simple. Yes, but then No. My PC is similar to yours. The graphics card is going to get you in trouble with your frames per second. You will be able to run it, but you will need a commandline file fo low-end pc's, edit the graphics options in game to Low, and a ENB or Texture mod to run it without a lot of lag. Trust me, without any of those things I listed. Your going to get 9-12 frames at Max. With the things I listed, you will get 30 frames or more.. I prefer VisualIV 1.7.1 as a ENB. I hope this helped.

Hmm. This is a somewhat random topic, but its a good one. I believe this should be in malls, but a bit differently for malls of course. Schools, DEFINITELY, but not leave the young students behind. The teachers at a Elementary/Grammar, Middle, and or High school should be trained for these types of situations. Especially because of what has gone on in schools in today's world. Which is and was tragic to say the least... Besides, who doesn't want to see your favorite teacher or a fat mall cop wip around, disarm or even kick some guys or gals a-... You know the word, and you probably get what i'm trying to say.
