This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. You are the type of person I could easily see driving around a retired Crown Victoria and getting giddy when people slow down and think you're a police officer. First, you're wondering if you can be a cop with a felony, and now this? Something tells me that you are not the most well adjusted person in the world. I'm getting very strong wannabe/whacker vibes from you...and it's unsettling.
 
Regardless of whether it is actually legal or not (I have no idea, since I'm not a lawyer and I don't pretend to be one), wearing anything that could make others identify you as a police officer is probably one of the stupidest things a person can do. Do you know how many people, especially in New York City, hate cops? Do you know how many people specifically target cops? As you probably know, two NYPD officers were shot in their patrol car a couple weeks ago just for being cops. You don't have the training, nor the skill set, to handle someone who is attacking or shooting you unprovoked. Even police officers themselves are not stupid enough to broadcast to the world that they are cops when they are off-duty...and they have the training...you don't.

What exactly is the point of this thread? I feel like you are just trying to get attention. Do you seriously think that anyone one this forum has the ability to grant you a pardon or start a petition that will get you hired? I'm pretty sure you already started a thread about this several months ago asking if you could be hired as a police officer with a felony and everyone told you no. What is the purpose of starting this all over again? This just looks like an grab for attention or trolling.

I'll use your own words against you. You said since the Explorers began they've been in hundreds of rescue missions..... They did it without lights, you can too. You're 15 or 16 years old, you are not mature enough to handle the responsibility of having red lights on top of your car. For gods sake you havent even had your license that long. (all state laws are different, but i doubt you can get a license before your 14 or 15), a five day academy is simply not enough training. I went through a 4 month academy, before i was trusted to operate a class A emergency vehicle. The fact that you are so eager to have the responsiblity is proof enough you are not mature.  I don't mean it to sound harsh, I've wanted to be a police officer since I was young, but you have to learn to walk before you run. Participate in your program and do well, don't rush things. Also, don't come to a forumn that has experienced Law enforcement officers and try to argue your point against theres. Trust us, we've been there.

Are you trolling or do you seriously have a felony, and so much in love with the NYPD/Law Enforcement that you are willing to impersonate them.
 
I am not an expert/lawyer, this should not be in any fashion considered legal advise.
That said, if you truly are a felon, being in possession or the above said items. I am sure there are plenty of L.E.O.s that would haul you in for impersonation of law enforcement and let you fight it in court.
 
It may even be within the moderators moral/ethical grounds to verify this information and possibly turn it over to local authorities before this individual takes it upon himself to impersonate a L.E.O. and/or possibly cause serious harm by doing so.

Stop what? Stop talking about GTA V coming to PC on a forum based around a modification for GTA IV on PC? Yeah, that's not gonna happen. If you don't want to see it, don't click on the thread, but this sort of thing is *exactly* what you should expect lots of threads about on a site devoted to the PC version of the previous game in the series.

The problem is it was ALWAYS coming, people were just too damn impatient and started throwing little hissy fits at Rockstar. Every single mainstream GTA has been released onto the PC, why wouldn't they do it with V where they could fully show the potential of the game?
 
People need to seriously calm down, the PC version is coming.

A tazer or CS spray isn't going to do much to a pissed off attack dog.

Well, I don't really like that, we have too much "incomplete" games now, thanks to EA, Ubisoft, and some others.
 
I don't know what thinking about this for GTA V.
IMHO, "collector editions" should only be with bonus physical content (statues, posters, books, CDs, etc...), not ingame digital stuff.

I remember my sister watching this show 25 years ago. And it was clear to me then, as it is now. That My Little Pony, a cartoon based on pink pony toys, is targeted at little girls and not teenage boys. This is just phase for some teenage boys who think its needed to differentiate from the rest by any means necessary. So they will be noticed and hopefully be perceived as (not)cool. Anyways, the problem is your sounds are too long, the max for a wail is 5-6 sec but no higher, yelp is 2 sec and phazer is about 2 sec depending on the sound. Try to keep them as short as possible.

I would guess either the sound file is too large or it's not encoded properly. Make sure it's saved in the correct .wav format and it's not too large. If you can't get it working you can always send me them and I'll sort it for you.

Ok Guys and Gals, here is a nice update for you law enforcement enthusiast. This update will put the correct officers in the correct squad cars during patrol. As of now, this update is for the FBI and Swat characters patrolling the city in the correct vehicles.

Please follow the directions below.

1a. First install this previous mod located at this link:

1b. Within step 1a, instead of using Noose and PolPatriot, use FBI and PStockade. Then again, you can use them all - like me. Just remember to remove FBI and PStockade from the # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS group and add them to other groups such as # POPCYCLE_GROUP_HARLEM, # POPCYCLE_GROUP_BRONX, # POPCYCLE_GROUP_JERSEY and so on.

2a. Now add FBI and PSTOCKADE to the TrafficFlow.ini file .... don't close it quite yet!!! ;)

2b. Add M_M_FBI and M_Y_SWAT to TrafficFlow.ini file also! Yes this works... trust me. :)

Your TrafficFlow.ini file should look similar to this.


3a. Next go into C:Program Files (x86)Rockstar GamesGrand Theft Auto IVcommondata and edit the pedgrp.dat file. Scroll down until you find this line # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS (M_Y_Cop_Traffic removed. Was the one in NJ)

3b. Now add M_Y_SWAT and M_M_FBI under that group.

Your pedgrp.dat line should look similar to this.


4. Lastly, check the FBI and PSTOCKADE Anims2 setting within the vehicle.ide file.
* FBI Anims2 should be: VEH@STD_LO4_LO4,
* PSTOCKADE Anim2 should be: VEH@TRUCK_LO1_LO1

Suggestion: I suggest you use one of these models for the PSTOCKADE - if you're using the default game model: http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=819 or http://gtapolicemods...?do=file&id=537

PSTOCKADE vehicle.ide



FYI: My next task is getting the proper officers into the Noose and PolPatriot vehicles.
