  1. maybe it's because most of these places were British colonies. I know it was like 100 years ago but some things don't change.
  2. Hello again, i'm back with another top 5! This time I will be telling you my top 5 mistakes to make in/with LCPD:FR. (in/with means that some of these mistakes aren't directly caused by LCPD:FR it is just involved with it) 1. Use a mod and don't disable the keybinds. A lot of mods out there use the same keybindings as LCPD:FR and because of this things can happen. For example you could be in a shootout and you use Alt+B to call for backup. Next thing you know your in a helicopter and the blades are chewing up the horde of ditched civilian cars and any bystanders that stuck around. (well at least the blades deal with the suspects, so in the end no need for backup.) 2. Install LCPD:FR wrong. You there, can you not use the automatic installer. Well guess what... there is a manual installer. All you have to do is read the documentation. What's that you say.. you can't read well watch a video explaining how to do it. Installing LCPD:FR can be difficult for some people. and if you get it to work somehow, well done things will go wrong. 3. Use a rocket launcher to clear traffic (it just ends badly) 4. Have a partner on patrol. (to much trouble as it is. mix with number 3 and things seriously go wrong.) 5. stop playing LCPD:FR. you just made a big mistake. (image removed due to Malware Warning from chrome that I received when looking at this post. warning was Associated With the Image.)
  3. I've just finished reading the linked articles and from what I have read I can see some problems with this. Firstly and probably the most important issue raised by this is the use of religion to manipulate. What I mean by this is the fact that minority has used their religion as a reason to get something done. Now i'm not saying that Halal meat shouldn't be available, it should be as everyone should be able to walk in to a business that sells food and know that no matter their personal or religious beliefs should be able to purchase meat that doesn't go against their beliefs. However to use it as a way to get something completely changed to suit them is just wrong. And some people believe that Halal is less humane than the standard methods for the slaughter of animals in the UK. What i'm trying to say is that just because you believe something doesn't mean to say that others should have to do or eat the same as you if they don't believe the same which is what this sounds like to me. So basically if you believe Halal is the best way for meat to be prepared that doesn't mean everyone else should have to eat Halal.
  4. I do see your point with 5. And when it comes to roleplaying that's another fun idea to do in LCPDFR. But massacring the entire city with an RPG... forget the roleplay just give me the rocket launcher :) and yes I totally agree the possibilities are endless!
  5. So believe it or not I actually got bored of playing LCPDFR (something's wrong with me). So i decided to do some fun things with it. Here are the top 5 things to do with LCPDFR when your bored: 1. Change all the police radio audio files. This doesn't just mean replacing them. I personally just opened then in an editing software and increased the pitch and other things. It can be quite amusing. 2. Don't play LCPDFR as a serious mod. If you play LCPDFR as a serious mod then no wonder your bored! The most fun is to be had when your in the law enforcement vehicle of your choice and your holding a 9mm out the window shooting unexpecting driver's rear lights out... and them pulling them over for their vehicle not being roadworthy. Or if your not doing that then you should just mess around spam Ctrl+N and have a police helicopter demolition derby! (don't forget you are the law anything you do or say goes!). 3.Install Mods(I put this one in the middle because it's a 50/50 argument on whether this is true or not!) Personally i'm not one for modding GTA4 (other than LCPDFR of course) However for some people modding GTA4 with LCPDFR and more mods will enrich your experience and bring out new possibilities and adventures to be had on your patrols in Liberty City! 4. Make a video or some form of media about LCPDFR! some people may argue with me on this one but creating media about LCPDFR is one of the most satisfying things you can do! why you may ask? Well if you make some media to do with LCPDFR and then post it in the forum dedicated to LCPDFR Media then just the reaction of the people on the forum to it and the feedback will make you want to make more and play LCPDFR more because it gives you a reason to play and most importantly it keeps that fire alive that is inside all officers in the LCPD. And if you are afraid to post anything because your scared of nasty comments. Forget them feelings. This is one of the best communities you will find anywhere no ones going to say anything nasty the closest thing you will get to anything negative that you can get on these forums is just ways you can improve your Media.(and we all want to improve.) and even then it's just them being nice because in their eyes their helping you improve. so go for it! 5. Just play LCPDFR! Now this entire topic may be on things to do when your bored of playing LCPDFR but to be honest I bet you 99.9% of the time you just think that your bored of playing. just launch GTA4 and press Alt+P and then just play eventually you will lokk at the time and see that you've just spent 5 hours playing LCPDFR and is the game crashes with those 5 hours then you will realize that you just loaded it back up! Anyway i'm going to stop typing now because my fingers hurt. If you think I've missed anything out or think something else should be in this top 5 don't forget to mention it!
  6. Top ten things about ELS : 1. When used you never have to worry about not being able to find a taxi. 2. When used you ELS enabled vehicles become indestructible. 3. If your ELS enabled vehicle has the siren on when it blows up then you can have a siren disco in the street. 4. It reduces the price of replacement ELS enabled vehicle doors as they can be found everywhere. 5. Using ELS Lights when not responding to a call means that you become a super cop that stops crimes by just pressing 'y' to accept a call. 6. You only have to deal with homeless people and prank calls. 7. Look more doors! 8. Refreshes your ELS enabled vehicles to look good as new. no need for a car wash 9. Let's the LCPD steal law enforcement vehicles from other states 10. Now there are hoods everywhere!
