Hello,

please remove the file "LCPDFR Loader.net.dll" from your game root (where the .exe file is). It must only be in the "scripts" subfolder.

Have you installed LCPDFR automatically or manually?

  • 7 months later...

I know this is old, but it didn't help me fix my problem.  After searching and working on it diligently, I found the fix.

Each time I would start during load up I would get the script error "ERROR IN SCRIPT LOADER.LOADER!" and LCPDFR wouldn't start.  No where could I find a fix.  So let mine be the first.

Okay, I just fixed mine and here's what I did.  First completely turn off and disable any anti-virus program.  LCPDFR as well as several other scripts use a deep rooted Trogen and your Anti Birus software will attack it each and every time.  This will cause the loader not to load.  Then I went to my GTAIV main folder and right clicked the "LaunchGTAIV".  Go to properties and then compatibility.  Select Run this program in compatibility mode with Windows 7.  Then at the bottom select Run as Administrator check box.  Start your game and you should be working smoothly.  Worked perfectly for me right after that.  If I really had to guess, I think it is the Anti-Virus program mixed with the Administrator option.  Give it a shot.

  • 1 year later...

I stupidly changed one of my files over the last couple of days, and didn't create a back up. I have uninstalled LCPDFR, along with GTA IV, reinstalled both, and this is the error that I am getting. Somebody please help, I really enjoy playing this game.
