I actually only made that because I was testing out the carcols. I forgot to change it back to something more mature

Aussie Flash Patterns
Again, I'll go back to what I first said. It sounds like you didn't install it properly and it's using the default sirensetting instead of the new one

Aussie Flash Patterns
- 7,629 downloads
- Version 1.6
This modification changes the carcols.ymt file and adds an entirely new flash pattern. -NOTE- This file is primarily for vehicle developers, who wish to use this flash pattern on their vehicles. Regular users are able to install this and use the flash pattern on any vehicle that already exists, however it may not work as intended. Terms Of Use: The user of this modification has permission to include the carcols.ymt file with any vehicles they wish to release to the public, so long as credit to the appropriate authors is provided. The user of this modification has permission to modify the carcols.ymt file to their liking, however it’s advised to make a new siren setting rather than editing one of the existing ones, to avoid confusion between versions- 24 comments

Speaking of vicpol VF's I spent all day updating mine and they're pretty much all set to be released tomorrow. Even managed to chuck on some bluenet equiptment as extras for more fun

Not sure wether or not the vicpol s2 cars use those liveries, but if they do, mind if I put that in the mod? either was I totally recommend releasing that, that skin is hard to do right yet that looks really good

A ranger paddy wagon could be arranged, but there wasn't a Colorado paddy wagon going as far as I'm aware. Moose had a Colorado dog truck though. nissan patrol is out of the question at the moment, unless someone wants to fund one, and then find someone who wants to make it.

@PgUp Like moose said, the lighting in that photo makes them appear a bit brighter than normal, but if you want to change the colour edit the lights.png texture in the ytd file. @BlobbySmutho The sedan taillights on a vf2 is the same as a vf. The only one's that changed are the wagon taillights

while I see your point about him pointlessly bragging about something that benefits nobody, I will partially defend that thing about posting photos of something and never releasing it. It's hella fun

At this rate, no unfortunately. it's 90% the same as the default lighting system, the only difference being the actual pattern. So there's only one button that turns all the lights on or off. If I wanted I could put aside 3 sirens as messageboard sirens, although they'd always be flashing whenever the lights are on, and i'd rather they didn't flash at all rather than that.

[Research/WIP] Custom Light Patterns through carcols.ymt
Here's what I whipped up It's a pretty generic flash pattern that should be able to fit most australian police cars. I'll hopefully be releasing it so anyone can use it on their own models

Preview of my aussie flash patterns sirensetting that I've been working on I'll hopefully be releasing it sometime over the next few days but it's more use for vehicle modders at the moment, rather than the general public. I've tested that my current unmarked models should have the basics working already, but my highway patrol cars (which means moose's too, because he's using my lightbar) aren't optimized for it yet. They'll all be updated eventually as well as all future cars having them. I also think it's a good idea for vehicle modders to use this as opposed to making their own. Because if everyone made their own it would be hell for users to install the models and the correct lighting systems properly.

Probably something to do with the model using only the blue sirens. If it's your own model I suggest using both red and blue sirens, then changing the red colour to blue in the carcols
