  1. Yep that's it. I want to live in a city that literally has a suburb nicknamed stabbington
  2. I meant that the model isn't allowed in gta v because it's SnrCstJacob's
  3. As long as oblong keeps that car in IV where it's meant to be that's fine
  4. That's why I posted it tbh. Cheers for everyone saying stuff about my schedule and stuff. I can assure you that after my vicpol pack is done one of two things will happen. Either I just start making lots of various cars from around Aus or I disappear and bask in my wealth *cough*. And I think we need to address brony's wig wag's. It's dodgy :P
  5. Well that's not too shabby, maybe I'll make a ranger paddy wagon one day
  6. @AussieGaming calm down mate don't be so aggressive about everything. I love the nsw hi-vis hwp cars but I much rather their normal ss and xr6 patrol cars, not their hsv and fpv show cars, they just don't do it for me. Oh btw @HawksFan2102, you were saying something earlier about wanting SAPOL cars, old mate Snit is making most of the SA stuff at the moment
  7. To be honest I think SAPOL cars look better than NSW GD cars, and the NSWHWP I like just as much. And Aussie Gaming, cmon be mature, there's nothing wrong with friendly banter but settle down a bit. Everybody's entitled to their opinion on what they like
  8. Well it's quite simple. You just have to poly crunch it from 500k+ to around 70k-110k. then you have to texture it, fit out a decent interior, fix up the gaps between the body and the interior, model an engine, boot and do general fixes to it. Sometimes you have to make a wheel too which is the worst thing in the world. Then once thats done you have to sort all the parts into the correct objects, create collision files for everything, then you have to compound all the objects into a game readable format. Once all that's done it's a matter of repeatedly going in game and ironing out any bugs, and changing anything you need. Onto the emergency side of things, you have to model and convert the lights for it, work them out to work for the default gta lighting system (yuck), make all bits of gear you need, make liveries, bug test, and boom, got yourself a model. For me that whole process is about 15 hours on an average model, although I rarely get time to work on a model for more than a few hours at a time. confused you yet? :P
  9. I think it's a bit premature, you still need to actually decide who gets to convert the model, who gets the modding privileges and what the heck you're actually going to buy that someone doesn't already have/plans on getting
  10. Not only that, we don't get payed to make these. In my 2 years of making mods I've made something like $130, and thats from one person donating to me. Half of that is going into VF Series II's and the rest is going to go part way towards another firetruck. I just realised this sounds like we're guilt tripping everyone, we're not. I do enjoy making mods, and most people are respectful which is good, there's just so much time and money we don't have to make these things.
  11. This is usually the point where most people go quiet, because they want models but god forbid spending money on them.
  12. Pretty sure down here across the border we use one of the four wheel drives, I've never seen it though. And does anyone know what URA stands for on a nsw car? I saw a nissan patrol with URA on it's bonnet this afternoon
  13. What you've actually got there is an aerial pumper, it's a mix between a ladder platform and a pumper. They're not as handy in urban areas as an LP, and they wont be replacing them
  14. well if we're all bragging about our trucks... Our 3 year old medium tanker and our 30 something year old tanker (well, not our tanker but ours is exactly the same) It's due to be replaced next month with a new Heavy tanker though. Pics taken from my place incase anyone was wondering too
  15. It's not because of the interior, hell at least yours has an interior. It's because whoever made the old new zealand models did a really dodgy job and I'd rather spend 3 weeks making my own truck than spending 3 weeks fixing those ones
  16. I was just about to say that. A ladder truck is never a primary response vehicle on its own. In cities it'll be called out with one or 2 pumpers and in rural areas it will get called in as backup, but by that point they'll have several pumpers and tankers already there. LP's are invaluable, they can rescue trapped people and get a higher vantage point to attack a fire where ground units can't reach
  17. Liveries and lights are pretty much the only difference. I was thinking of making a bronto but too lazy
  18. I feel like a firefighter mod needs to be more than just a simple callout script like agency callouts
  19. I'll probably just stick to the series II then, It's not like I don't have enough cars in this pack anyway. In the meantime, a few meaningless screenshots I'll be making a roo bar as an extra for the front of the wagon too, my local cop shop got a new wagon and divvy van with them so I figured might as well make them
