Yeah, it's the correct log. Please give some more details. Does it always crash? Are you already in the pd? Are the peds spawned? Does the introduction helpbox show?

Please post the content of the "LCPDFR.log" file. It can be found in your GTA root (where the exe file is).

Well, this confuses me as well. Usually, when there is a problem with a model, the game just crashes. I can only guess, but I'd say that the model is realy high-poly and IV can't handle it properly. I have a GTX 570 myself and can only add a few cars to IV until I run into problems (such as the infamous taxi bug).

Yeah, that rig should run IV well. Do you use any vehicle mods or have you changed any other game files?

This shouldn't happen at all, but when it does, it's most likely an indicator of lacking memory. So try if lowering settings helps, if not you will have to consider upgrading your computer.

The peds will despawn when the callouts ends or when you get too far away after it's already in progress. You are right, the callout can start even if you still have to drive a few minutes. It's using the air line distance here, which is definitely something we have to work on, but for now you have to live with it.

I have a GTX 570 since its release and it runs GTA absolutely fine.

Code 4 happens when there were problems with creating the peds in gta because there are no free resources. This is most likely caused by too high settings.

@Tom H: You first said the police computer "freezes" when clicking on login and then you said you can't even move the mouse when you opened the police computer. Please describe again, what exactly you are doing and what happens.

Ah sorry, I thought you are talking about injecting actual new game files into IV. Well you can - as Jay already said - rename your file to .ASI so a asi loader will load it. An address of 0x00000 means loading failed, but you said it works via debugging software so I think it's maybe a permission conflict here. You can try to use a debug version of xliveless to get an actual error code. Anyway, there are other methods to inject a dll into a process. You could create a proxy dll of a file IV needs, e.g. dsound.dll, so the game will load you custom dsound.dll instead the one from Windows32. Make sure you forward all calls to your custom dll to the real dll. Another method would be to create a launcher tool, which would create a remote thread in the target process and this new thread would load your module into the process. There are more than enough examples for these methods in the internet, simply google them.

It depends on the file type. In some cases a simple CreateFile hook could do the trick so you can pass a modified file. You could also call an engine function with your modified content/path to load it into the game. Just give some more information about the file type you want to inject (handling, texture etc.) please.

Co-op is really fun, it took me and my friends a while to get used to the weapon system though (hint for pc: Hold middle mouse button). @JordanH: Fifa 12 will be awesome ! :P

Yeah as Sam already said, I'm also using no ELS and only a few carmods (no police carmods though). The good thing is I never have crashes :)
