  2. You're turning the car off when you get out. You have to either leave the siren running or 'tap' the F key (or whatever you have as "get out of the car". It should leave the car running.
  3. Update time!! A beautiful and highly detailed 1966 Ford Fairlane from Carface 1959 FSO Wagon 1959 FSO Sedan And not sure if it counts, but a 1995 Porsche Carrera RS 993
  4. Nothing is better than a big ole Twinsonic sitting on a big ole boat of a car. Here are some of my favs
  5. Kind of a silly one, but I noticed in Bohan some of the traffic lights also have stop signs on them. So which one are you supposed to obey?
  6. Quite before the 70s actually. The first California police car that I know of that had a light (let alone with a red one) was the LAPD in late 1947/early 1948. They just had a red steady burn spotlight like most CHP cars that you commonly see in the 50s/60s/70s EDIT: After looking, it looks like the CHP used cars with red spotlights way before the 40s. It looks like this 1927 Hudson has a red spotlight.
  7. That caption for that Mustang should be "Day 34, and they still don't realize I'm not a Datsun..." lolz
  8. Yeah, and I did absolute barebones and got this ANYWAY. Here's another funky cop car so I'm not completely hijacking this thread.I'm almost positive it's an Ariel Atom

  10. Hm. My Tesla brochure says that for $70k you can get a super base model, and most go from there. But at this point, it's just technicalities. Anyway, I suppose I'll leave these here.
  11. That lightbar looks awful btw. But XBR is right. That being said, Tesla's are in the 60-90k range, and many departments spend MORE money than that on CVPIs.

  13. For sure. Some departments have some weird ass cars, especially when they did DARE back in the day. Those are some crazy cars. A department near me had a drag race car for DARE.
  14. I'm gonna have to disagree that that's a Rolls. If anything it has a Stutz vibe, but that's pushing it. The rear of the car is waaaaay too modern. I'm saying it's a kit car made to look like an old car.
  15. Does anybody know the name of the font that Jeff is using at about 0:50 seconds in? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYsJH0SaGi4#t=48 ^The video should play there. The closest I've found is the Law & Order font, but it's $35. Anything that it's pretty close to that's free?
  16. Agreed. I think they completely ruined multiplayer with a ranking system. The GTAIV freeroam is the best idea ever. There's still people playing GTAIV on Xbox 360 just driving around. Why R*, would you not include this? I am excited because they said they're adding things (whether we get that or not, I dunno) but I'm mad we still have to wait a long ass time. I suppose I'm most excited to be using a CHP style cruiser with a vector lightbar sitting by the freeway waiting for speeders.
