ELS MP Siren Help

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have ELS V7 and I do have my keys mapped differently then regular (see below) The problem I am experiencing only with multiplayer is I cannot use any other siren option than my main siren, and when I try to use manual siren and manual horn it locks it in. Has anybody else had this problem? Looking for a fix, thanks!

Manual Siren: E

Manual Horn: RMB

Siren Activate: H

Light stage: Q

and the rest is stock

I too have experienced the same problem with using my siren in multilayer. What I've done to get around this is just to use the Express Mode option with ELS so I can use different tones. There might be more practical solutions but this is just what I've come up with.

I'm not quite sure if I got your problem right, and I never experienced this problem but perhaps this tool http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=22038 might help you out.

It worked for me just fine in single player when I had issues with the siren but I'm not sure if it works in multiplayer.

Controls can be changed in an .ini file as far as I can remember.

Good luck!

I can't really go over what to do in specifics because we have different keys so I'll use more broader terms. When you press down the siren key (G is default for me), it will play the main siren. For me to go through siren tones, I would need to hold down that G key (or whatever the siren key is for you), and that would play through the the next tone. Since there's obviously three tones, you would need to let go of the siren key, press it again, and scroll through the siren until you find the third tone. Hope that made any sense.

If what I recommended does not work, the instructions OPPOfficer gave you would help your problem. I use that tool in multiplayer and it works just fine. You'll have to edit the .ini file (instructions are included in the download), and then use the key you set to automatically scroll through your siren tones. What this tool does is allows you to focus on your driving, and it will do all the siren tone changing for you.
