He's a bodyguard ped, he has to follow and protect the player. You're better off not getting a partner.

Do you have any mods installed? Is it all really untouched? If so, run the game as admin. Since it's going through steam, you'll need to exit out of steam and restart it as admin. EDIT: Also, if it still fails to start. Do Windows Update and make sure you have the latest updates, who knows, it might fix it.

All versions only work on latest patch. Either upgrade or don't bother with the mod.

Did you load up TBoGT or TLAD? Sorry, have to ask.If you get this game on PC, your game will lag, regardless of having a NASA PC. This thing is a bad PC port. EA said they'd be patching the game to fix the performance problems soon. Don't know how long though. One thing I hate about this game is racing, one thing I love is getting chased by the police. They actually become a challenge once they call for SWAT support on heat level 6! :OHave you tried running the game as admin? Normally once GTA4(EFLC) gets mods in it, it becomes unstable and will crash or wont start. Running the game as admin usually fixes this.Nice information!
