  1. OVER-priced, over-hyped, over-priced, under-lifespaned, over-priced, with a mandatory smugness level that rivals the Prius. - Apple as a whole. But with "smart"phones, your basically stuck choosing between varying levels of evil, M$, Google, CrApple, BlackBerry(not evil?). Google's Android wins, it is the least restrictive of all of them. But I guess I am not entitled to an opinion because I have not owned all of them. I have tried Android, IOS & WP7.5 for a short period. But I still own a mobile phone, Sony Ericsson W810i, why? It still works, it does what I need it to (calls), and the battery lasts 3+ days on a single charge.
  2. The lens flare is hiding the red, you can see a bit of red in the middle top of the right side of the bar.
  3. With every screenshot my hopes are raised, just for them to be squashed by R*(publisher) not giving a fuck about PC because it does not make them as much money as crappy consoles.
  4. Tonnes of people have this issue becuase: * R* did a pathetic job porting the game from console. * Vehicle modders don't appear to comprehend a polygon count. * Too many people think consoles rule (cause of first point) * R* never intended the game's engine to load vehicles 800+% larger than their models.
  5. I want to see another trailer. A picture is worth a thousand words, 24*60*1.4*1000, that is a lot of new information.
  6. Yet they made it harder to mod in the first few patches of IV, just because the backlash caused by "hot coffee" in SA. But that was the fault of R* for leaving such content in and also the fault of "Cunts against gaming, television, movies, violence, sex, and everything good" aka CAGTMVSaEG, they complain about everything, trying to ruin everything for the rest of us, instead of actually keeping an eye on what their kids are doing and saying no when they ask for a game/movie/etc. As for DayZ, that ruined ArmA II, most of them never even tried the fucking game and most of the ones that did, gave up because it was too hard. That shit fills up the server browsers and the cunts are demanding changes to the weapons just to make their mod better! R* need to be as open to mods as BIS but not change the core game for one poxy mod.
  7. I think that GIMP is more feature rich but Paint.Net is more intuitive and user-friendly. GIMP also ha(s/d) a slightly fussy interface when minimising, on Windows, which I have never experienced with any other GTK+ based application on Windows. I use Photoshop CS5 and GIMP 2.8, but I ALWAYS use GIMP to make the final image, it does not bloat the images like PS does, it produces PNGs only a tiny bit larger than if they were run through PNGcrush. GIMP also has a far superior file type support natively. It can edit GIF, APNG(plugin) & MNG animations, unlike Photoshop.
  8. GIMP, Paint.Net, Photoshop, PaintshopPro, a 3-year old with fingerpaints, ANYTHING but MS Paint. This plugin pack has one for curving text. Or with GIMP you could use text along path.
  9. ScriptHookDotNet has a decent selection of examples in the archive. And this page has a lot of good info, some might be outdated though.
  10. Flight Simulator X is good, but an adiction to it can cost a fortune.
  11. You can adjust the console size with the numpad. Shift++ and Shift+-
  12. `help` will display all commands in SHDN console. What do you mean by "about a specific script"?
  13. Doubt it would be difficult, not done any IPB dev in ages but you could just add a profile feild for their LCPDFR username and then download each user's stats on a schedule into a MySQL table (recommend at least 6h between requests too keep server load to a minimum).
  14. You can access it here http://www.lcpdfr.com/api?apikey=http://www.lcpdfr.com/api?apikey=[YOUR APP API KEY]&variable=statistics&action=render&username=[uSERNAME] Omit the username to get overall stats, you could generate a percentage with them. You can generate your API key here http://www.lcpdfr.com/page/csapikeygen from the dropdown select "Third-party application". Your statistics will be in JSON[PHP,Python] form {"mpstart":0,"chases":701,"arrests":1033,"tickets":442,"backup":1860,"officersdown":19,"accidents":307,"noose":177,"helis":131,"evidence":41} Your app API key can access everyone's stats so you do not need anyone's API keys.
  15. I do not see why not, but a read only API key would probably be needed as the current one can be used to write to the crime statistics. A malicious user could use someone else's API key to spam their stats and get them banned.
  16. At the moment the URL to access a user's stats: http://www.lcpdfr.com/cops/usagestats/endpoint.php requires the user's API key. Which you should not be giving anyone as it is basically your password. If there was a read only API key then that might be possible though.
  17. Nope. I buy games, then, and only when I have given them a good play, do I look for mods. I hate people who buy something just for an addon almost as much as I hate people who buy the outstanding ArmA2 just for DayZ.
  18. When you buy something it does not mean you may do as you wish with it. Soon you will not even be allowed to sell your own property! Their terms state: Most 3D models are bought for use in 3D renders, as in only a 2D representation of the original item is distributed by the buyer. This is what many companys from car manafacturers to movie editors do. The prices stated seem reasonable considering some may cost thousands of dollars. If you want to buy one to use in game, you will either have to find one with a less restrictive licence (unlikely), buy one using a licence that is for games (costs a lot more) or use it for private use only.
  19. You could make the car fireproof and throw a molotov on it.
  20. No envy, I feel sympathetic to your brainwashing, willingness to pay ten times an items value, let them put such restrictions on what you can and can't do with your property and signing away your first born. It is a horrific disease, even worse than Facebookosis.
  21. Best accessory for ALL crApple products:
  22. As mentioned by Ridgerunner, I have added a couple of new features to make up for the broken release. I just want to make sure there are no issues with the new stuff.
  23. EFLC only has the .dat files, the .rrr files might be something to do with mission paths or something. But the .dat ones appear to be for subway cars, the cable car and planes.
