Small fact, the reason why L.A. Noire was placed onto three discs was not because of the map at all, it was primarily because of the technology used. The facial reconstruction system that they used took up a lot of space, which required them to expand to multiple discs. ;)

Draw Distance is actually incorrect. It plays a factor in how far you can see cars/peds as well as the buildings but what really creates the "blurry" effect is a feature called "LOD" or "Level of Detail". Basically the "LOD" effect exchanges the building models with lower poly more blurry ones. The closer you get to the object the more the model changes to the detailed one. Depending on your Draw Distance it will happen sooner or later, that is why on the PC you can modify your draw distance, in case your PC can handle full Models all the time. ;)

Not necessarily, he isn't technically breaking any laws or policy from what I was reading. He was contracted for a duration, not under an NDA directly. I believe when being hired by a company, you sign the Duration Contract and then the NDA separately to ensure that there is no confusions. Even though he isn't breaking any laws/rules there is still the respect as I said early. If you enjoy working in the industry, trust is important. Starting off as an Intern is a big thing for a Gaming Company. You may uncover some secrets during your working period, but what you do with it can effect the outcome. If you do your job successfully and you do not leak any information, you may be re-hired for a longer duration, and if you have any experience within a development/testing field you may be notified in advance of potential job openings... If you reach the end of your contract and they discover that you leaked information, then they will just dismiss everything and not hire you again... Not necessarily law suit worthy. That is indeed possible, I thought of that a few times, it seems to be written very professionally but there are a lot of people who write like that as is.. We'll eventually find out.

By releasing his first name and where he worked as an Intern, if R* doesn't like what they see if they see it, they will more then likely hunt him down and never re-hire him again. If they share the information with fellow developers they may not hire him as an Intern as a Leak Risk. Depends on the company and if they want it on a tight lid. Even if he isn't contractable on an NDA, there is still respect of the company. Early information may potentially scar development.

Even then, that might be what is crashing it.

Re-install LCPD:FR w/ the Tazer mod. It should have a modified version of the .xml with it I believe. That might be what is crashing your game, trying to use the tazer without it being in there. I got a bunch of errors a few times.

Hey guys, This is not related to GTA:IV at all but I'm a little rusty on where to go to get a free forum host, I usually try to stay as far away as I can, but I feel I may have to venture into this as I'm low on funds. I'm making this post to ask you guys if you have any suggestions for what forum hosters to go to that don't remove too many functions versus the full version of say, SMF or MyBB. I haven't touched these in a while so I'm afraid to look, LOL! Any ideas? The forums would be more internal for my Drivers and Race Engineers.. Thanks.

I enjoyed it, though at the beginning it feels like it is kind of too slow, the shot of him exiting the vehicle to the pure blackness (On my end I couldn't see him), to the security feed. It could've been done faster and cleaner, rather then the drawn out bit of nothing. The music fit very well, a lot of editing went into it and though its a tribute, I think less black/white would've been appropriate. Maybe some effects of color changing while you are zooming in on the effected officer, to kind of give the idea that he is no longer here. Not quite sure really, but I enjoyed it. The music fit with it, and it was good editing. Definitely good for a start. I'd also suggest using better vehicles, example is the ambulance. It looked a little blurry and the lights weren't that good. I'd suggest using ELS and trying to modify the camera angles to hide the door problem.

At the beginning I wasn't sure if you were shooting for realism or not, so I didn't want to blatantly say anything. Since I know now that you are shooting for realism, I feel that it should have a cage, because at this current time on GTA:IV and LCPD:FR we can not place our partner in the back, or the suspect up front. The best thing to do to meet the both worlds is to compromise. It would be more realistic with a cage, so that we can safely and comfortably place a prisoner/suspect in custody behind us. Maybe if LCPD:FR does a system where you can choose where the suspect sits, a version without a cage should be released. Just because you have 1985 cars, doesn't make the criminals as if they were in 1985. They still have the violent outrages of a 2007 Liberty City Criminal ;).. Just my 0.02 cents.

Please don't take this as me trying to rain on your parade or tell you how it should be.. It looks good with or without a cage. In the end you should decide.. Hey, why not two versions? You already got it done, so best of both worlds, right? I'm sure I'd be inclined to use the Cage version anyways, in the end.. it wouldn't feel right allowing the suspect behind me without any protection ;).

1.) I've noticed this as well, sometimes they as said above, take them to another cruiser around the corner. When this happens, I usually do not trust the officers, so I end up killing the suspect anyways. 2.) Can you clarify this, please? Have you installed any Weapon mods that adjust the weapons.xml file? I installed a Handling mod that uses a modified weapons.xml file and the Tazer would no longer work correctly. I couldn't even pull it out of my pocket. If this is the case, you may need to uninstall the mod or adjust the weapons.xml file appropriately. 3.) As said above, your Vehicle Density may be too low. I'd suggest increasing it to 10 maybe 15 if you still do not get any vehicles.
