Making Arrests
Making an arrest There are two ways to make an arrest in LSPDFR: Via the Stopping & Frisking feature by detaining the person. Via a gunpoint takedown (explained below). Gunpoint Takedowns Not all suspects are willing to give up so easily, this means you must use force. You can stop a suspect at gunpoint by aiming at them with your weapon out and holding down E or . This will fill a progress bar in the bottom right of the screen. If you are able to fill the progress bar completely, while keeping the suspect at gunpoint, the suspect will begin to comply by going to the ground. Once a suspect is on the ground, they can be handcuffed by moving close to them and pressing and holding E or . An example of a gunpoint takedown in LSPDFR. Interacting with arrested suspects After you arrest a suspect, they will automatically follow you until you release them or transport them to a police station either by doing it yourself or calling for a Prisoner Transport unit. There are several interactions available with arrested suspects: You can make an arrested suspect stop following you and have them sit on the ground instead by pressing Q or behind them. You can take hold of an arrested suspect and move them by pressing E or when behind them. You can perform a pat-down frisk of an arrested suspect by holding Q or when behind them. You can release an arrested suspect by holding E or when behind them. While holding an arrested suspect, you can detain them inside a police cruiser by holding E or beside the rear doors. You can open the door of a police cruiser by facing towards the door and pressing E or . While standing beside an open door, press E or to remove the suspect from the vehicle. Transporting a suspect to a police station You can either choose to transport a suspect by yourself or by calling in a transport unit that will do it for you. Transporting an arrested suspect by yourself You first want to take a hold of the suspect and transport them to the vehicle by standing behind them and pressing E or . Next, you can either: Detain the suspect inside the vehicle using an animated sequence (police cruisers only) New in LSPDFR 0.4.6 Manually open one of the vehicle's doors so that the suspect can enter the vehicle. To place the suspect inside the vehicle using the animated sequence, take hold of them and move them towards the door of an unoccupied seat in the back of the vehicle. The animated sequence will only work if the vehicle is a standard car layout, the seat is free, and if it is the rear-left or rear-right seat of the vehicle. Press and hold E or to detain the suspect inside. A progress bar in the bottom right of the screen will show. To place the suspect inside the vehicle manually, you first need to open a door for them. Approach the door that you wish to use and press E or while facing it to open the door. Once the door is open, take hold of the suspect again, move them towards the opened door and press E or to make them sit inside the vehicle. Note that you can remove a suspect from a vehicle by following the same process to open the door, and then by pressing E or while standing beside the open door and facing towards the seated suspect. In LSPDFR you have the option of transporting a suspect to any police station, most stations have a jail symbol on your map, driving to this and parking in the blue checkpoint will transport your prisoner to the jail. The Downtown Police Station has jail cells that allow you to move a suspect into the cell area on foot, you do this by removing your suspect from the vehicle and leading them into the cells. Requesting a Prisoner Transport Unit Alternatively, you can get your fellow officers to transport an arrested suspect to a police station for you. To do this, you must first make the suspect sit on the ground. Stand behind the arrested suspect and press Q or to make them sit on the ground. Once the suspect is sitting on the ground, open the Backup Menu and call for a Transport Unit. You will need to change the Response Type in the Backup Menu to Transport.

Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh
We do allow free and open discussions, but that does not mean you get to go out of your way to be offensive. If you wish to partake in debate you are aloud to do that, we won't however let you unnecessarily go out of your way to make pathetic jibs at both people and cities, it doesn't contribute to the debate and instead ends up derailing it. You have been on this site long enough, you should be very aware of the kind of behaviour we allow and the kind we won't. If you want to respond to my original post with a response which is on-topic and not randomly bringing up gun control when I never spoke a word about it I am fine with that, if you want to continue this discussion on what you can and can't say, feel free to send me message.

Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh
I find it funny that you seem to spend all day attempting to fire shots yet not making a point, I didn't say gun control was what was needed, and you'd know this if you read my post, so I am just going to gather that you didn't. I know that when Armed Police respond here, they are the very best trained in the world, I feel safe knowing that, so it works out incredibily well for me and I am sure the people from France would also agree. So are you going to actually contribute to the discussion or just attempt to trigger people with off-topic jibes, and yes I can see the hidden posts where you went out of your way to be rude and offensive.

Synagogue shooting in Pittsburgh
Three cops got injured... surely it would be better to think of a solution which has the chance of stopping this ahead of time? I mean, it's all good saying every religious place in America needs armed guards but I highly doubt local law enforcement departments are going to send their valuable manpower to every religious building in their jurisdiction on the off-chance it is involved in a shooting, so these guards are coming from somewhere else - who is going to pay for them, how trained are they going to be. It's all good saying that everyone will be safer with more armed guards, yet all I see is poor response to an issue which happens somewhat reguarly in the United States - don't get me wrong, I don't say I know the answer but surely putting the money into finding a more logical, safer and sustainable solution is better than just throwing more likely poorly trained rent-a-cops into the line of fire.

Three mass shootings in America in one day
I can likely outrun someone with a knife, have the potential to outfight someone in a fist-fight, but I can't outrun a bullet. Obviously, the whole European point of things would never work in the United States, simply because how many guns are already out there, most other countries I'd argue a case could be made that it is safer to have no guns or strict limitations, but the numbers in the United States simply means that either way you'd struggle to make a difference.

Bakersfield Shooting
Yeah, sorry stupid me for not listening to someone from 4000 miles away on what is going on in my own country. I retract all my statements on everything I have ever said. Oh wait, that is right. You are wrong, so wrong to the point I struggle to tell if you believe the stuff you post or whether you are just trolling. I come from one of the most deprived areas in the entire country, the same area you are most likely to see all these 'islamic immigrants' you speak of who are doing all these nasty mean things. Yet when I go out I don't seem to see them at all, kinda confusing don't you think. Maybe I should follow Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon to find all those criminal muslims he sees, oh and by Stephen I mean the guy with the pseudonyms Tommy Robinson and Andrew McMaster, boy he seems awfully big into sounding like a true british man.

Bakersfield Shooting
Are you serious? He points out that the videos have been debunked and yet your response to try and make them seem valid is to post past terror attacks. It's like the time when Trump used the tweet of the none-muslims attacking the kid on crutches and people defended him saying with the good ol' "Well they do it though." Yeah, how about show us actual evidence instead of just twisting things all the time, it's pathetic and sickening. Really? WW2 is where you are going for - there was like 15 countries who partook in the liberation of France, and the majority involved (other than the French Resistance) where military soldiers, not civilians with guns. 'Just because your cucked out BBC does not report something' - He's French, the first 'B' stands for British. Also, because Fox News airs it, doesn't mean it's true - most of the time it's proven to be completely untrue.

Suspected Attack In London (no fatalities)
Firstly, don't try and play victim because somebody calls you out on the things you say - I don't hate Americans and I am not the one who reguarly posts anti-uk and europe stuff even though your country is far from perfect, and when I say far I mean like really, really far. Now just to break down that twitter post you quoted - I can bet you for a fact that they are seized from people who have no reason to be carrying them, people who aren't handymen who are likely part of a gang who won't be able to bring up one valid reason on why they need to be carrying them around, you'll probably say it's anti-freedom but I call it great police work. I don't see how you can complain about a country that actually tries to solve an issue instead of just sitting back and letting it happen time an time again, different cultures I guess.

I guess it's better than other countries approaches of doing nothing and expecting that the outcome will be different.

Sweden - Rape Capital : Child Sexual Assualt Crime = Community Service?
Really - anyone who disagrees with me is against my country. I mean, I have issues with CNN and I also think they are untrustworthy, but Fox News is as bad. They'll take unstantiated and ridiculous claims and provide a platform to so called experts who are generally supporters of Trump and just let them use Fox as a platform to put out actual 'Fake News' - neither Fox News or CNN are worthy of having the title 'news' within their name.

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
I have actually taken a look into the laws, and found the recent amendment which allows for the ownership of weapons for situations like this, such as being in a pro-defence paramilitary organisation, so I will admit my mistake in that one. That being said, the criteria is still completely different to America and as such doesn't apply as an example, in order to gain access to a permit you have to go through the following: 'To obtain a firearms license, the applicant must have no criminal record, undertake a medical and psychological evaluation and pass an exam appropriate to their reason for wanting a firearm (held by the police for self-defense, the Polish Sports Shooting Association for target shooting, or the Polish Hunting Association for hunting). Permits are issued indefinitely, although self-defense ones require passing medical and psychological evaluation every 5 years.' Not only must you have no criminal record at all, you must go through a medical and psych evaluation then if you pass that, you have to do an exam on why you need a gun, the gun laws are completely different in Poland to America, so I think it's fair to say that you cannot use the country as an example of why owning guns work, because the ownership is still lower than the United Kingdom and whilst you can get more guns, the criteria seems like it is the exact same as the United Kingdom.

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
If you watch that video, the one you posted, the reporter says how they are volunteer soldiers and how they are being implemented into their national defence plan, this video was from 2016, the implementation was adding them into the Territorial Defence Force, the weapons where owned by the Polish Military and given to them as reservists, so your video doesn't show people owning automatic weapons, because as proven they legally can't, these are reservist soldiers with military equipment. Also, you sent stats that proved nothing, so please let's not act as if I am just denying facts or something, Poland has less gun ownership than the United Kingdom, also has less murders by guns, yet I don't act as if it proves less guns = less gun deaths, it could be due to multiple variables. Also, even though I misspelt Policja in my post you quoted, the point still stands, they are the national police of Poland, they are not a federal agency as you state, I'll simply refer you to Hastings for that one, these other Federal Agencies you speak of which aren't actually federal agencies are as follows (English Translations on the names): Internal Security Agency - this is like Britains MI5, they handle counter-terrorism and counter espionage. Goverment Protection Bureau - Secret Service basically. Central Anticorruption Bureau - That one is in the name. Customs Service - Border Control / Border Force / US Customs Civilian Watch Deatchment - protect military bases Prison Service - no explanation needed Border Guard - US Border Force type blokes Railway Protection Guard - armed security on trains Military Gendarmerie - Military Police. So that would mean that your uncle works for Policja, which raises the question why you didn't just call him a member of that, instead of referring to him as a member of a federal agency, when there isn't any federal agencies is confusing. You have still yet to back up any of what you have said with evidence, and you can't sit around calling journalists biased when your evidence is people that you know, even though I can't tell if these are evne real people.

Freedom Of Protest In UK - Only For Some
I really don't get what your point is anymore. Firstly, let's not break down what was the most complicated war in the history of the world down to my country giving Poland the boot, saying that my government gave the boot to a country that we couldn't access during the beginning of a war with the largest army in the history of the world is just an arrogant view on things. I once again ask for evidence of these militias, when I google around for Polish paramilitary groups all I can find is that Paramilitary groups are part of the defence force, you have presented nothing to prove otherwise. Yesterday you wanted me to know you understood what officers in the United Kingdom wanted when it came to being armed, because you spoke to them when you visited the United Kingdom, even though there was evidence available towards the contrary on the internet Now you want me to disregard all evidence on the internet regarding the strict nature of Polands gun laws because your uncle may or may not work for the Federal Law Enforcement Agency in Poland which is actually known as the Polijca (translates to Police) which is a National Police Force and the primary Law Enforcement agency, yet he knows more than the years of journalists who have reviewed this matter and the government who put out statistics on it, right. I'm sure next you'll want to try and sell me a bridge.
