Game keeps crashing few minutes after starting

Featured Replies

Hi,

I downloaded and installed lspdfr 0.4 earlier today. All files that I believed should be present were. Running RAGEPluginHook.exe works fine and I load into the game successfully. It all seems to be functional and everything seems to work fine. But after a certain amount of time (around 3-5 minutes) the game crashes, often with an error message saying "LSPD First Response.dll has crashed". I have not been able to find a cause for the crash in game, it seems to be semi-random but its normally during some interaction related to the mod vs standard GTA. I also tried the fixes suggested in this link:

but the issues still persist. My standard GTA also runs fine and I am not using any AVs apart from Windows Defender (and I added the game files as an exception just in case). I don't know if I am missing something obvious or not, so sorry if this seems obvious. If you need any extra information to help, please let me know. Thanks.

Well first of all I gotta say that I'm having this issue as well.
I've tried reinstalling LSPDFR and all of the plugins but my game keeps crashing around 3-5 minutes in game. It also crashes when I press "E" for talking with suspects.
I really don't know why it does not work at the moment as I played the game 2 days ago and everything worked fine.

But apparently other users are having those problems too since I only see messages like "Game crashing" in the support area on this Forum.

I cannot help you unfortunately but I can let you know that you ain't the only person having this problem.

Updating RagePluginHook seems to have fixed the issue (for now at least). 😀

This was a lie. After updating. it allowed me to do more but the plugin still crashed as before. Hopefully attaching the most recent log will help

RagePluginHook.log

Rename mods to _mods and see if that helps.

For the rest: Wait for the LSPDFR hotfix.

This thread is a little older but I just had this issue happen to me this week.

I basically rebuilt my mods folder and am slowly adding back the vehicles and adding meta/data lines to suit what I'm adding back in.

So far it hasn't crashed or at least hasn't crashed within the time I tested it.

I thought at first it was a callout but I'm using the same ones when it crashed the first time.

In my opinion I might have over loaded it with alterations for vehicles and handling lines, visualdat alterations and might have added or left out something that the game just didn't care for.

We'll see.
