Do we need to unistall VDH Tow Mod before installing this or will it auto integrate?

It's integrated into the mod. I believe that this removes the key control for it so you need to use the phone. But don't take my word on that.

The bait car is very awesome. But by the time I'd placed it I had a world event pursuit (LCPDFR RC3) come flying down the street.

Luckily, I just had to shift slightly in the suspect's direction and he swerved into a wall, allowing me to continue watching the bat car.

thats exactly what happened to me what i first snagged a thief...soon as he took off in the car i had a pursuit in progress happen right in front of him kinda like in the one episode of bait car...love this mod especially being able to call in any of my squad cars in right away instead of having to steal a car to get to the police station to go on shift

oh man, this mod is awesome. I've been playing for 1hour and looks stable at this point, road blocks works just fine, but it would be cool if cops stop shooting when i got the perp in custody. Bait car works fine, i play around now like a fbi agent LOL, and your mod does not have any issues with my other mods (policing script i.e.). One of the perps on the bait car just opened the bonnet and ran away with a muffler and i went like LOLOLOLOL OH and the animations you've put to the gentlemen who brings the bait car for you, loos very awesome.

there's a bug, when i choose to fix my police car, the mechanic spawns but then my car disappears and finally it freezes the game. Oh one question, why is there a motorcycle spawning at my back every ten seconds without a driver on it?

I've used the Breathalyzer Mod without problems during a traffic stop, but I understand that scripts can be picky.

Good point. I'll see what I can do. One thing thou. It will be impossible to get the same data from LCPDFR computer and PoliceHelper device.

So for some reason , when I hit X , the phone comes up and everything work , I just cant see my mouse button. Any ideas? Im using ENB , VisualIV , Better City Textures.

Do you have problems with LCPDFR computer too? Try to change your mouse sensitivity in game settings. Setting ForceResolution in ini file might also help.

My game keeps crashing after playing and at ramdom times, how can I find what is the problem with it. I dont belive it is your mod but you seem to very smart with the game. Thanks for any advice!

In other thread I saw that you were saying that it crashed before adding PoliceHelper. Some ELS versions don't work well with LCPDFR so it may be your problem.

I forgot to say that CriminalActs script is not recommended to use with PoliceHelper. It can crash (CriminalActs) randomly and sometimes thieves from that mod can steal your bait car and my script can't control action no more.

I tried this, the objects seem fine. Only problem is, when my friend gets close to them, I lose the ability to delete them. So they just get stuck there. Also did some more testing with the roadblock, fun as shit. We got in a bike and tried getting past them while getting chased by police, so much fun. Then we tried out the bait car, that shit is fucked. When I try to spawn vehicles, I seem to crash. I thought maybe it's cause my friend is too close to me, so I went across the city and tried again, crashed. So I tried in Single Player, crashed too. After a while I finally got it to give me a vehicle. I think that feature to spawn the vehicle and have it drive to you can cause a crash. But after we finally got a bait car, the ped that goes to steal the car seems to freeze up if they connect to another player. They just stand there. So I had to force them to leave naturally. Once we got further away, they finally stole the car, then my friend yelled yes like crazy and blew him up with an RPG. Cracking down on car thieves, lol. Anyways, that bait car is very crash happy for me. Also, do you have like Steam or something that I can let you know about online play with this? It's very promissing, and I'd like to help report problems with this. In the mean time, I'll just post them here.

I really have no clue what is wrong with that. Frozen peds appear when you have overloaded memory. It happens when too much objects are sitting in memory and game can't rid of them. For example road barriers that weren't deleted by script as they should. I wasn't expecting that kind of problems with road barriers. Also bait cars shouldn't crash it. Tom H used them online without problems :/

I don't have steam. My legit copies of games are for PS3 so I can't test online. I'll see if I can do something about those issues but I really have no idea what causes those problem :(

Send me your scripthookdotnet log after bait car crash in single player. That is serious issue and I might not be able to fix online problem I want to fix everything at least for single player. Give me also info what mods do you use and is it GTAIV or EFLC. Thank you for all your help.

Did you read manual or read me file? Everything is explained there. Also if you are using GTAIV, not EFLC, they are turned on.

NO! Tow mod is still needed (version 1.0.5). PoliceHelper only communicates with tow mod, it's not integrated.

Thank you for releasing this mod! One problem though: I tried to spawn some road cones to make a cone pattern but I couldn't? I have it set as Left Shift+Z (default) but when I do that nothing spawns or happens.

I need more info on this. First of all remember that cones spawn BEHIND you ;) When you spawn cones does game/script crash? Can you spawn road barriers? After trying to spawn cone, does option for removing them appears in policehelper device?

Whoa that's weird. Were you in that car when that happened? Did mechanic spawned in engine bay? I mean did he collided with car that dissapeared?

On that motorcycle. Is it motorcycle or scooter? Did you try to spawn road cones before and did that work? When you will have something like that again try to shoot at that scooter and see if there is a blood. It should have invisible ped on it.

Invisible scooters/mopeds are spawned with road cones to make traffic drive around them (peds don't see objects, just vehicles and other peds). Maybe that feature gone into infinite loop. Give me more info and I hope we will fix it ;)

When i pick the fix car option, i put my player on a side of the car, the mechanic spawned just inches in front of the engine bay, but he is not colliding with it, just makes the car disappear. I tried putting my ped in front of car (considerable distance between) and the same bug happened. Three times.

The cones worked well, just gonna check what you're saying by shooting the spawning faggio. The reason you give me is very logic, soi agree with that, no complains at all. Just try something on it if you can :)

If you want i can record it and post it to you, so you can see it with more detail, if you want it i can have it in the morning. Btw, policing script stopped working with no warning, guess it's because some keybindings, so i will try it too and let u know. Ps... I got tow truck 104 instead 105, is that any problem or it's ok?

Hmmm. I thought that I've fixed that. When you do that traffic stop does policehelper device that shows distance to the bait car disappears or is still present? After that does thief still drive to chop shop or just wander around?

On car fixing. I guess you are using modded cars. I'll see what I can do with that. Maybe turning off collision model for the car while fixing will do.

Problem with scooters is more complicated. Make that video, if it's not a problem. Do they spawn also when you are on foot or only behind a car?

Script stopped working or just crashed (scripts can crash without crashing the whole game). If it will crash again like that try to remember what were you doing and send me scripthookdotnet log.

PS: Tow script should work in earlier version without problems, but I still recommend upgrade ;)

How often will a bait car theft turn into a hideout/chopshop mission? Are there any influences on this (ie geographical location, type of car etc.) or is it just random? It's great that it isn't too common but I'm just wondering what the chances are as I've yet to have it happen.

I haven't found any real problems with the script as of yet. I felt like some of the first few times I requested a bait car and positioned it, the police car I was in would disappear but I haven't had that happen since. I tried to use the policehelper to do a ped ID check but it just popped up with their details on screen and didn't give me options to do anything else. Is there something else I'm supposed to do in this situation that I missed or did it just bug out? (I think the suspect died while I was checking the ID so maybe that has something to do with it).

1. First there is 25% that he will try to chop shop. Then he tries to pick a chop shop that is more than 200 and less that 1100yd away form him.

2. ID check gives you options to cite, hold ald let go suspect but he has to be well and alive ;)

This mod is purely a fantastic mod. Abraxas, you just made me not accept any LCPDFR callouts. The bait car is fantastic, especially with CHP mods. But I do have one problem though. Whenever I spawn a traffic cone, it can only spawn one. Once I had spawn the cone, I can't spawn a barrier either. Any ideas what I can do?

Whenever I spawn a traffic cone, it can only spawn one. Once I had spawn the cone, I can't spawn a barrier either. Any ideas what I can do?

Check console or scripthookdotnet for errors with vdh restrictedArea or something similar. It looks like it crashes part of the script. I'm a noob so I was able only to separate road cones/barriers part from main script, not like in LCPDFR where everything is separated and one feature crash doesn't lead to crash of whole script/game. Do you by any chance have modded... Faggio?

The PDA goes away and it appears to be a normal traffic stop... until he drives away. Honestly, I never followed them though.

So I think I know where is the problem, I hope I'll be able to fix that in next release (it can take a while, I'm a bit tired of scripting right now ;) ).

One problem.Lets say im in a pursuit of a bait car or just random car which doesnt pull over.I set up a roadblock,The car crashes into it and police shoots.

But then a random policeman from the roadblock comes,Pulls the suspect out of the car,He is about to put his hands up coz of my E arrest and the officer just plain shoots him.

I tried removing the roadblock thru the mobile as soon as the suspect came to roadblock,same thing happened..

thing is I want to arrest him after he has no chance of escape.
