Still from my point of view, it appears unfair that some people are designated as "essential" members of the community and are put under a spotlight for that, while others, who are as talented if not even more, aren't. It can easily be frustrating for people like Bejoljo. I would be frustrated.

 

Again, I totally agree with you. This fact just seems contradictory to me. Every mods should be treated as equal, and none should be put under a spotlight while others are left under the shadow.

I do agree, but it's perhaps not as simple as that as we do have to find a way to promote good content all the same.  

 

The idea with the category was to make it easier for people to find some of the most popular/frequently downloaded mods on the website - the ones that quite a lot of people use with LSPDFR and which you often see on videos.  At the same time, we didn't want it to be a replacement for the filters/featured files so I think we were quite cautious in what we selected.

 

Most of Bejoijo's plugins replace existing LSPDFR features with different ways of doing things, which is totally cool, but occasionally causes problems with LSPDFR and isn't perhaps as 'essential' as something that adds entirely new content that can you use with LSPDFR like EUP or which most vehicle mods on the site depend on in ELS. 

 

Regardless, anything like this is a hard decision to make - but it isn't like Bejoljo's mods have been overlooked.  They, especially StopThePed, have been extensively featured and promoted on the front page too.

For anyone still wondering about bejoljos mods, he uploaded them to another site apparently. It's linked on his profile.

From what I understood from the note he left on his profile, he was unhappy with the review system of lcpdfr for some reason.

It isn't fully removed. Go check BejoIjo's account there is one link that he provided in his description to his all plugins. All plugins are updated.

It's cool he has his own site now.  If he's not happy with being here then I guess that is what you do.  Didn't Darkmyre do the same?  We just have to go to Bejoijo's site to DL it.  The other day after going on Duty it said there was an update to STP and UB.  I was thinking where?  It's not here.  Just found out now he has his own site.  It's too bad that we have to go to another site but honestly there are mod on gta5-mods that are useful to lspdfr that aren't on here.  So that is just what we have to do.  For me, I'm just happy we can get his mods again.

glad hes back up and has his own site now. its nice that his mods are not lost like some of Nafariousboone's and Lt Caine's stuff
