The new GTA V update changes how the launcher works.

To use LSPDFR/RPH launch GTA V normally, wait for it to load to singleplayer, then launch RAGEPluginHook.exe. It will detect the running instance of the game and load from there.

For me it didnt work like that.
I loaded both at the same time and it worked well

got it launch via gta5 launcher as it loads then launch rage worked.

Hey Everyone, 

 

I just spent two hours trying to figure this out.  As mentioned above, simply launch GTA V and then launch Rage Hook right after. It's as simple as that. 

 

 

So Rockstar updated their launcher and now, every time you launch GTA, it goes through the Rockstar Launcher in lieu of steam. Now RPH won't hook LSPDFR, and  I am curious if anyone knows how to bypass this?

Ive had the same problem, hope it is fixed soon or they find a work around

Does anyone know how to solve the issue of the game crashing due to an access violation error?

 

The game fires up till after the Rockstar video / logo and the moment the "Loading Story Mode" line appears in the bottom right with the loading wheel appears, the game just closes and a message saying "GTA5 Exited Unexpectedly" pops up. Checking the log, it shows that it was an access violation error (0xC0000005).

 

I've had this issue since the first release of the Diamond Casino DLC but because it didn't work, I reverted to the previous version. However with the new Rockstar Launcher, I'm forced to update and I can't get anything to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone having problem to open rage plugin hook where they asks you to download Rockstar Launcher and if I don't I cant open the game??

 

LSPDFR is unplayable for me now. 

I finally managed to get my rage plugin hook to work. what i did was waited till gta v menu was up then i started up rage plugin hook then i clicked on story mode then it worked.

Yes like what the heck is going on here!!! Once this new launcher thing installed everytime I try to open RPH Im having an Issue signing in and at first I thought I was putting in my password  wrong but I keep getting this popup and idk why I have to sign in where rph automatically sign you in the Rockstar site 

Now as I try to launch the game in story mode It keeps asking me to sign in but why is it doing this and I did not put my password in wrong

Yeah That's sad bro Idk why we have to launch this Rockstar app in order for us to play it before and this happen rph worked fine and it was a lot more easier but I sure hope they figure it out

This is how I fixed it. Just start the normal GTA V through Steam. When the menu pop up where you select single player, multiplayer. Alt + tab out and open rage plugin hook, and wait for a few second, press single player, then the rage plugin hook should appear loading on the right bottom corner and LSPDFR should work! 

Is anyone having issue to play LSPDFR?? when I open the game it keeps saying Scriphook V out of date and need download newer version, but I don't see new Scripthook V version. Anyone having this issue??

Rockstar released an update today to add 1 new car to Online. Not sure what they've done but something in the update broke SHV. http://rsg.ms/c2f5146

What I do, run the stupid launcher, click Play on Steam.  Once the intro Siren and police lights go away, and the copyright screen shows up, Alt-Tab out and lunch RPH, the go back into full screen mode.  It should hook into the game and start story mode with rage.

RPH has been updated today to support the new launcher. The problem now is the new "update" has broken ScripthookV.

That isn't what the update was for. Cars are added in bunches during major updates (generally July and December) and drip fed to Online in between. The files have been there, it just wasn't released.
