FEAR ME     I'm using Albo's mods and they seem to work properly, aside from a complaint about being outdated. Traffic violators from Traffic Policing still show up as blips.

The real issue that I am wondering about, does this update fix the texture loss caused by modded vehicles?  LSPDFR 0.4 couldn't handle multiple vehicles and 0.4.1 didn't fix that unfortunately. @LMS

How do I get Aldo’s Mods  to work??? I downloaded a new GTA5 file from Steam then downloaded LSPDFR 0.4.2 and it worked great but when I add Arrest Manager , Traffic Policer and then LSPDFR+ it crashes every time... I tried the troubleshooter download but no matter what I do it will not automatically fix errors as it says “ it doesn’t have File Permission”...

could snyone please help me out, I’d greatly appreciate it so much....

Downscale your vehicle textures from 4k to 2k, not a LSPDFR problem but rather your own. GTA is not made to handle a lot of 4k textures. In addition, check that Main.preloadallmodels = false. ever since 0.4.1 LSPDFR is optimized and smooth, so there shouldn't be any problems

Legend! been bothering me for ages, just spent the last hour swapping out skins, could do all except 2 and it runs perfectly!

Cheers.

It actually is a bit of an issue with lspdfr and gta v because when I started getting the texture loss, I unloaded lspdfr and lo and behold everything came back.  However, with the preloadallmodels = false, the issue seems to be less common.  I think another option is to lower the texture settings in the game menu.  I haven't tried it yet though.

No clue how it doesn't manage to work on your end. It sounds like a permissions issue like it says. Did you try running it as admin?

Los Santos's Most Adorable Police Officer

Exactly what it is I click automatically fix error and it says I do not have file permissions to do so... how do I run it as an admin??! Sorry I’m really new to this all I just got my first gaming computer last week

What are the general thoughts on existing plugins (Traffic Policer / Arrest Manager / Stop the PED / LSPDFR+ / Agency Callouts / Police Smart Radio) working with the new 0.4.2 release?  More good results than bad?  Or more bad than good?

Planning on upgrading from 0.4 to 0.4.2 shortly.  All the plugin versions I have are the latest versions, but wanted to know from others how experience has been so far with plugins, especially multiple.

If you're upgrading from 0.4.1, you only need the two files in the plugin's folder.

I tried this but LSPDFR is crashing every time now. I had 0.4.1 and did exactly what you said. Not sure if this helps but I copied what looks to be the pertinent info from the log below.

have no idea how to resolve this. I'm updating from last LSPDFR.Installed with the automatic installer, LSPDFR crashed. Downloaded the manual files and installed, still crashed. Removed ALL plugins from my game folder and LSPDFR still crashed. Still haven't resolved this yet.

That still isn't lspdfr's fault. GTA V is not made to handle all the 4k textures found commonly now on websites, and lspdfr spawns those vehicles as ambiance which causes the game to freak out. As I said, downscale your textures and you don't even need to change game settings

If you're moving from LSPDFR 0.4.1 to LSPDFR 0.4.2 you can grab the manual download and simply copy/paste the two files in the plugins folder into your own plugins folder. It will ask you to confirm an overwrite. Confirm and you're done.

As for the missing badge, are you 100% sure it's not there? I.e you're looking in the action menu and not the inventory by mistake?

How do i change shields texture?

Just a heads up for anyone who had crashing using an Xbox Controller:

I plugged my xbox controller into my xbox and turned out it needed a firmware update. I also found out that if I tried to load the game while the controller was plugged in, it would crash before I could even get into the game. That was even with a clean install, 4.2, and the latest Rage Plugin. What I found worked was, I loaded the game first, then connected my xbox controller and that seemed to work. Not sure what it is but my Xbox One Controller (old and new One X controllers - both firmware updated), just do not play nice when you're trying to load 4.2 while they're connected initially. Hope this helps for those who were in my same shoes.

Getting a System.IndexOutOfRangeException when launching. I'll try removing all plugins.

Update: Vanilla install works, so perhaps it's either a plugin, or something with my saved character...

So far this update is amazing!! Before this update my game randomly decided if I tried to switch characters that it would not let me it would just not do anything and act like LSPDFR was not loaded so I used EUP to set characters on the fly.. this update so far has fixed that and I am now able to switch characters.. when I first tried I noticed a crash but I reloaded and tried again and it was fine.. only issues I see so far are when I go into the Police Station to go on duty and when I go on duty then look through clothing in the locker I get a crash after a few seconds.. I have a thing that modifies configs through Custom to add EUP uniforms to the locker so maybe that is the issue but it is no biggie as I just select my character and force duty then select a uniform through EUP.. before this version there were so many "Ambient Spawn" crashes even when I went into the .ini and set to disable Ambient Spawn.. especially in the City.. I have been playing for 30-45 mins in the city with no ambient spawn crashes.. not sure if the setting works now or if it was a patch fix but anyway I am so happy to be able to play for several mins with no Ambient Spawn crashes.. the badge thing is really cool although I have not figured out how to switch from FBI to Police badge but that's okay.. the riot shield is also a really cool feature and I may just delete the riot shield script I have that I don't really use and end up dropping most of them when I press O anyway haha all in all so far this is really smooth and stable and all the plugins work flawlessly for the time being that I had on 0.4.1 and this is a really good update!! I look forward to more updates and more features to come.. awesome work and thank you all for what you do.. Devs, Admins, all Staff etc. we appreciate what you do.

Ever since the release of 0.4.2 I haven't had this issue.
