When going to ped search and pressing on the ped details the LSPDFR crash, same as vhicle details..,

Did you install ten 0.4 version ? because I didnt and that was the problem

Did You try uninstalling some plugins and checking if one of them makes the problem ?

yes i did, i made a whole new plugins folder ETC.

I think you need to replace "gameconfig.xml" maybe. (According to the instructions)

I installed a new gameconfig and all that but unfortunately computer+ keeps randomly crashing my game sometimes. Not always tho.

I had that problem but it seemed to be fixed when I installed 4.1.  But it crashes in other areas now.  I think Computer+ needs some more rework by the Author.  On the Computer+ DL page Author recommends to install latest version of Rage, LSPDFR and Computer+.  Still have problems then install a good game config, heap limit adjuster and a packfile limit adjuster.  I have all those and it still randomly crashes but it is not crashing at the vehicle and ped data lookup like it used to. 

I have the same problem. It is not happening every time, but let's say that I use the Computer 5 times when I try to give somebody a ticket or to check the details of a vehicle. 4 times it would work without any problems but on the 5th attempt it would crash. Not sure if it has to do with the areas that I am when I open the Computer but I really think it is a mod conflict. 

 

It looks like a lot of people still have this problem, so it isn't only on me. Hopefully the author will have a response to this. 

i pull some 1 over while in my car i run a plate check , then i look at the computer+ to see who im dealing with , i go ask for id , come back to car load computer up again and game crashes , , now im looking for reasons 😉

defently bugged mod always keeps crashing when using the mod without my game is fine.

computer+ is very memory intensive. if you only use default gameconfig, the memory allocation for plugins is not enough.

 

try to install a good gameconfig: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars

 

IMPORTANT! don't forget to also install these 2 .asi files to make it works:

• https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/heap-limit-adjuster-600-mb-of-heap
• https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/packfile-limit-adjuster

Thanks Pazzi, I had a custom gameconfig but not these other two files. Unfortunately it still crashes as soon as I enter a ped or vehicle database.

 

Edit: Update, turns out the mod works great if you install it correctly haha. I had the wrong version installed.

make sure you download and install the correct Computer+ version 1.4.1.1 (for LSPDFR 0.4.x)

You nailed it (and juuuust beat my ninja edit, haha)

 

That was the problem I had, I'd installed the 0.3 compatible version like a dummy

still didnt fix.
