Would it be possible to add an option in the config file to enable/disable the new re-encountering escaped suspects feature? Or possibly have the functionality tweaked? I ask/suggest this as while waiting for a call to come out or while patrolling I'll witness something that requires action but before I am able catch up and interact with them (Initiate a traffic stop, stop the offender on foot) multiple times I've had the little red dot pop up and I can no longer interact with the offender. It also stops callouts coming out I'm pretty sure. It feels like a forced callout. After saying this it'd make more sense for it to be a callout instead. To me it also feels like I've had more escaped suspects reappear than I have had escaped suspects but that could be attributed to something else. Otherwise I thoroughly enjoy LSPDFR, thank you for all your work!

It's listed on the settings wiki page, and can be added to the ini.

Suggestions:

- Releasing a Suspect should not automatically Dismiss them.

- Dismissing a Suspect should never trigger a Pursuit.

- If going off Duty the players car should stay outside the PD

@LMS Bugs:

- When Suspect Transport requested the Arrest Counter counts on responded vehicles not on suspects. Means i got 4 Peds in cuffs. So i requested a transport. 2 vehicle arrives but the Arrest counter increases just +2.

- No other LSPDFR plugins installed. by pressing "U" on the keyboard the game shows [this] at the position of my suspect i am searching for.

Recently Added:

- After RPH has loaded the game world you will sometimes start at a traffic stop. Our traffic stop vehicle has a wrong livery based on the area.

That's debug text, pretty sure it's supposed to be disabled in the release version.

Why is LSPDFR raping me for frames ?

My game will run with a minimum of 53 to 63 FPS in SP with all my mods in.

But as soon as I load into LSPDFR it drops to 15 to 17fps

What CPU are you using? LSPDFR and certainly some plugins are very CPU intensive, make sure plugins you're using aren't outdated too that can cause huge fps drops alone.

To be honest the computer I've got isn't a high end or anything. It's only using an i3 and a GTX 1050ti.

But it runs the game in SP with no issues at all. And GTA V is the only game I play on it. I've only got LSPDFR and my vehicles installed ( plus the usual associated extras like ELS and SNT )

No ENB or graphic enhancing mods. Just my edited visualsettings for better ELS lighting.

It's one of the reasons why I don't bother with LSPDFR really.

Everything is up to date too

GTA V isn't CPU intensive that's why, it's more GPU. Remember it's almost 10 years old now!

But LSPDFR is CPU intensive because there's a lot of processing going on.

There are a few things you can do, like turning down some of vanilla GTA 5's more cpu intensive options

Ie: distance, pop density, reflection MSAA, grass, shadows. Also it may seem counter-intuitive, but increasing your resolution can help as it'll offload onto your GPU more (lower resolutions get dumped onto the CPU)

Don't use any plugins/submods that are older than ~6 months.

You can also edit the LSPDFR.ini

Try these:

Spoiler

Main.PreloadAllModels = False
WorldEvents.IntervalMultiplier = 0.0f
WorldEvents.MaxNumberOfEvents = 0
AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea = 0
Chase.MaxUnits = 4
AmbientSpawn.DisableRandomUnits = True
Chase.DisableAmbientAI = True
PoliceStation.DisableAmbientSpawn = True

What plugins/scripts are you using out of curiosity? Get rid of traffic policer/arrest manager if you're using them, use bejojo's Stop The Ped instead but keep the Calm Ped option OFF.

Yeah I've just done all that and binned most of my plugins and managed to get it back up to 29 to 35 fps.

I'll get rid of the other 2 and see what that does.

This is all I have in there now

Hi guys, I'm new to the GTA V scene and I've been really enjoying LSPDFR. I know I'm late to the party, which is why I want to thank all the modders for their continued work on this. I'd be very upset if I had to miss out on this fun. Thanks!

It's never too late :)
