Faya reacted to Scott Dean in To the LSPDFR CommunityI just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to every single creator and modder who’s poured time, talent, and imagination into LSPDFR. You’ve turned a concept into one of the most immersive and thrilling experiences out there—taking police roleplay to cinematic levels of realism, excitement, and adrenaline.
Sure, it’s over-the-top at times... but that’s part of the magic. The chills, the thrills, the chaos—it’s all part of what makes LSPDFR unforgettable. You’ve built something truly special that continues to bring joy, intensity, and community to players around the world.
Thank you for crafting such an amazing universe for us to explore. Your work means more than you know.
Much love, – Scotty Dean

Faya got a reaction from Medicmojo in NPC's holding positiong after suspect's death.Correct, this only allows the player to cuff the dead ped, AI officers will remain how they used to be.

Faya reacted to FLSTPRINGERF2012 in My very first suggestion for LSPDFRWhile I lack the expertise to develop LSPDFR myself, I deeply appreciate the incredible work you've done thus far.
In my first week of forum participation, I hope you'll bear with me if my idea seems a bit off.
I'm wondering if it's feasible to create a plugins that allows users to generate all Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) for a department based on MP characters.
The concept involves deciding the department size, determining how many officers are on duty or off duty, and utilizing EUP to customize every LEO and name these characters. I would be willing to financially compensate someone for developing such a plugin for public use.
Just imagine the ability to create and deploy your friends as patrolling and backup officers in-game. Or even recreate a dept. you personally know and Respect.
Please correct me if my post is in the wrong topics.
Thank you all, as always !

Faya reacted to Cyan in Community Team Openings and ChangesIt's been a while since we actively recruited staff, 2017(!) and well before the COVID-19 pandemic swept the world. But LCPDFR.com hasn't stopped growing in this time and is bigger than ever. That's why today we're announcing some changes to the team to allow us to scale more and to invite you to get involved.
Community Team Structure
Our Community Team has previously operated with a large scope and our moderators have been expected to moderate the entire site. This means anything from member disagreements, to credits concerns on a file, to approving files to someone spreading inaccurate information on LSPDFR support forums.
As LCPDFR.com has undergone a massive expansion in terms of community, mod and support growth; this has led to increased burden on our Management & Community teams including people working on particular parts of the website they may not be entirely familiar with or may not interest them. We also have not recruited to replace moderators which have left us in the previous years, further increasing this burden.
One of the changes we're making today, along with recruiting new Community Team members, is to make two new more specific moderation roles.
Support Moderator
This position is for those who are active within our support forums and are willing to help keep them tidy. This includes making sure posts are made in the correct support sub forum, preventing users from hijacking posts (posting their own problem in someone else's thread), preventing necro posts (posting in a thread that has not had activity for a significant amount of time), posting solutions to common problems, seeking more information from users seeking support (asking for logs, etc.), and marking threads as "solved" when a solution is found.
Support moderators will be expected to have general knowledge of common LSPDFR, RPH, and GTA V issues and their solutions and have basic troubleshooting skills.
File Moderator
This position is for those who are active within the downloads section and are familiar with modding GTA V. You do not necessarily need to know how to code or model, but have skills in determining when files are ripped or stolen. Duties include reviewing files that are held for manual approval and ensuring they follow our File Guidelines, investigating mods that may be stolen and referring these to Community Moderators, and keeping the downloads section of the site tidy (making sure files are posted in the correct category, all files have proper credits, etc.).
Applications & Getting Involved
Do the new roles above appeal to you? We're excited to build the Community Team further and would like to invite anyone who is interested to fill out a short form, expressing their interest. We need applicants to be at least 18 years old, able to use Discord & Slack for training and communication. Whilst we don't have strict activity guidelines, we do expect moderators to keep up with reports and internal discussions.
If you think that you'd like to get involved with LCPDFR.com by volunteering some of your free time to moderating our community, please submit an application to us using the following link:
http://lcpd.fr/staffapp
Applications close Monday 30th October midnight GMT.

Faya got a reaction from GTAbear in [Suggestion] Functions.SetPedKneelingTaskActive()Useful if you don't want the ped to follow you and if you don't want to have the player manually kneel the ped while in your callout.
For example, I am having players arrest a ped in a callout, after the arrest I need the suspect to stay near an officer, otherwise, the ped will follow me while I take statements from the callers, which looks odd. Having the ped kneel via code is the required fix for that.
Parameters: (Ped ped, bool active)

Faya reacted to LMS in [Suggestion] Functions.SetPedKneelingTaskActive()Seems reasonable, I will double check how it works internally but should be fine.

Faya reacted to LMS in Most Efficient Way To Test a Plugin? You can also use the "Bind" command in RPH to bind specific commands to keys. That way you could automate the process even further.

Faya got a reaction from Ricardo Vieira in Intimidate mode doesn't work because of GTA fist aim lock.Setting aiming type to "Free Aim" doesn't work, already tried. This is the LSPDFR Intimidate mode, not cop holster.
Is anyone able to quickly draw their weapon, it works for me, but when i'm in front of a ped, it just snaps to him and there i am ready to fight this dude with my hands while he's got a pistol.
The reason enabling free aim doesn't work for fists is you would be trying to punch him 99% of the time.(I'm still unarmed when i have my hand on my pistol, so when i press RMB, it's gonna go into fight mode.)
Does this happen to anyone else? Or just me? that way i know if i can fix it.

Faya reacted to DwongDwing in Suggestions for community plugin developersWill miss you man. You made the best plugins. If you make other plugins, I recommend a body bag plugin or a sheet to cover people pronounced deceased on scene.

Faya reacted to LukasMarks09 in Suggestions for community plugin developersThanks for your Amazing contribution for the lspdfr community.
-
Faya reacted to Echooo in Suggestions for community plugin developersI wouldn't say complicated, id say it's more time consuming than anything personally. But I do have a callout pack in development that will be detailed, unique, and realistic. It's just going to take time to make.

Faya reacted to Osler. in Suggestions for community plugin developersI think we have seen enough very good plugins that have worked very well for the lspdfr game, but what has failed the most are the callouts, I have not really seen very good callouts and most of them are always outdated, give errors, crash, very few calls or are unrealistic, actually most of the calls I have seen bring very monotonous calls like a hijacked bus or a dude with a rifle attacks for no reason, I would like to see callouts that have a previous story with a good roleplay development, although I guess it must be very complicated the development of these callouts.

Faya got a reaction from Cyan in More contributor names visible on download pagesHello all,
I noticed that there is a lot of space for more contributor names on the download page, if it gets extended, the contributors' names would be more visible and definitely won't go unnoticed for other users.
It would look like this:
Let me know what you think.
Have a nice day 👋

Faya reacted to JBin818 in Is This Mod Dead?People come and People go. There are still New Members joining everyday. The Community forums here have been quite. Me personality have been too busy with personal stuff but here I am now. I do have a bit too much on my plate so I haven't been on here or even played the game at all in about 2 months. When looking in the download section I see mods/plugins that are new or updated. New Vehicles, Callouts, Textures, etc are still being added regularly. Some sections of the forums seem to have really quieted down. Some long-timers on here are tired of seeing the same questions over and over so maybe they aren't on here as much. Taking a little break, maybe.

Faya reacted to LMS in RPH SDK 1.95Please find attached the latest SDK for RPH (for game build 2699). It contains a new assembly attribute feature for developers to help reduce game folder clutter:
AssemblyProbingPaths - If specified, RPH will consider assemblies in these folders (relative to game folder) during initial plugin load, i.e., when your entrypoint is being loaded. This does not affect anything loaded thereafter, so you have to hook up your own resolver if you have any lazy loaded dependencies. This is to ensure that your solver always gets called first.
Usage (in your global attribute):
AssemblyProbingPaths = "myPlugin;myPlugin\\moreDeps"
RPH_SDK_1_95.zip
