LSPDFR 0.4 - Now Available

Featured Replies

Thanks for all the hard work on this! (Probably not the right place to post this but only problem is that whenever the game loads, the LSPDFR 0.4 plugin crashes. This is on a clean game install also. The error is the same every time. "LSPDFR.InitializeBackground()") I tried both manual installation, and automatic installation. Same outcome.

I see a lot of you are forgetting that this is the 1st day of the release and you will encounter BUGS, ERROR, etc. Please don't think the 1st time running 0.4 will be a piece of cake for some because some of you will come across errors and some will have frame drops but seriously people these Devs have put so much work into this mod for everyone to enjoy, and I really think its selfish of some of you to come on here and  blast their work because YOU thought that this would be a walk in the park and everything will still be compatible (plugins, mods, etc) with 0.4

Im just saying for those who aren't giving useful feedback!!

Not happy with the update just go back to 0.3.1 until everything is running smoothly!

Its not blasting it is called feedback the devs need feedback so they know what needs to be fixed

Well I'm gonna try on a clean install and see how it goes with just installing 0.4, I have bad FPS as it is so I hope all the posts talking about FPS loss and lag are incorrect or something.

does els work with this? also how do you use the flashlight in the images

I'm not sure if els does but the flashlight is in the weapons wheel

currently just running it with VisualV and no other mods besides LSPDFR. It certainly feels more like a native game mode than a mod now. Really the immersion has been stepped up a lot, the animations when you grab peds is great, frisk and all that other good stuff like how peds interact to the stun gun vs firearm it great. Peds dont just walk off anymore while you interact with them. Big fan of the new character system as well as the ability to spawn at the closest police station. Definitely looking forward to plugins being compatible, running it just bare bones LSPDFR and im seeing a lot of the subtle yet awesome things that the creators did to step up the gameplay. The way other patrol units respond to commands seems much more realistic, the new system that allows you to re-engage a suspect when you find them after you lose them is really cool. The dispatch and radio voices sound more legit. It feels like it runs smoother. No crashes yet. Cant get ELS working tho.

Gotta say I am impressed and i think once the plugins that we are all used to using are compatible again it'll be everything i expected.

Tried both windowed and fullscreen, still crashes. I'll try and trace back via the rph or something to see if I can fix it

I think it's worth noting that LSPDFR only ships with data intended to be used with a clean installation (ie, no EUP or RDE). There's only one (actually two, the IAA has one as well) outfit because that's all that's available in the game by default.

I believe people involved with EUP and RDE are working on compatible data files, but in the meantime, you're free to check the LSPDFR Wiki for information on customizing your LSPDFR experience.

I suggest putting a warning ( like in the last preview thread) in the entire website saying that all plugins from 0.3 are incompatible with 0.4. A lot of people don't understand that.

It's to save the time from you guys and the entire community  because its getting repetitive. nobody reads the thread or have the common sense to understand that X version and Y version are incompatible.

Why would you need a flashlight?. Isn't your vision augmented?.
