Edmonton, Ontario McDonalds Gang Stabbing!

Featured Replies

11:45PM on January the 12th. The scene at #edmonton McDonalds in north London was chaotic and violent as two rival groups clash with knives and chairs with customers standing by in shock as two young men were stabbed in the back and leg in the dangerous fight on Saturday. Police believe that there may be a gang connection, Video is non graphic and there is no need for viewer discretion..-.. no blood or anything. Both victims were rushed to the hospital by paramedics in the area of Haringey and Enfield . A security officer was on scene during the attack and luckily was not injured when the attacking party even returned with weapons. MET police are currently investigating.

Typical McDonalds trash.

This is why I always go through the drive through and take it home.

Smart man, same here. Even at the drive through I will encounter impatient mentally unstable people too. Honking their horn and attempting to instigate road rage style fights because they feel the drive through customer line is taking too long to move. Not sure where more general degeneracy occurs in the bathrooms or in the lobby itself. It's nasty.

I've never had that happen.  The worst I've had are the morons who order food for a family of 200.

I need donations to help fund my food addiction. DM for details 😂

The best thing I have had happen is someone infront of me paid for my order one time. And I felt obliged to return the favor for the car behind me, even though their total was like nearly 14$ where as mine was like $5. It's rare to see acts of kindness at those establishments but rarely it does happen. I remember at midnight they are forced to discard the food from that night. And some of the local ones in my old town would send the shift manager out to this place called " The Stoop" where a lot of homeless people hung out. Would feed the whole lot of them and then some. However he eventually got in trouble for doing that I believe. So silly.

This is one of the reason several of the McD (and other 24hr fast food places) around my area lock thier doors after 10PM and only have the drive-thur open.

That's nuts. Even in the most low income poverty and crime ridden neighborhoods in the United States they are forced to keep their doors open until close time. Example below. There maybe bullet proof glass all over, but they can never directly close their doors to customers. If a store in the US shut it's doors prior to closing some numb-nuts here would make a lawsuit out of it. Example of the bullet proof and advanced security McDonalds below.

They not only utilize the glass but also bank style cash exchange receptacles as well as usually 5 or more cameras than the usual McDonalds. Including exterior cameras in both in front of the store and in the rear parking lots. They have detectives and police there asking for surveillance footage from crimes so much it would be foolish not to have them almost. I would not be shocked if McDonalds and Burger King and various other fast food CCTV has resulted in tens if not maybe a hundred cases or more in the Baltimore/Detroit areas alone getting solved.

-snip-

It's not really a safety issue, it's more that fact the they only really get like 1-3 customers an hour so it makes sense to just lock the dinning are and leave the drive thu open.

So do they have people on foot lining up at the drive-through window too? I did it myself a few times, here (Western Europe) no places are fully open at night, so that's the only way.

Same here, the McDonalds close around 11 or midnight, and the drive-thru remains open until 1 to 2AM depending on the establishment.

or if you are able to carry ,carry lol

That too, in most states that allow Conceal And Carry Pistol Permits this would be one of the many places to choose to carry. Not only could it protect you, but it could aid in thwarting a potential robbery or other possible violent crime. As the saying goes " Only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun, is a good guy with one.". As we have seen over 97% of all shootings in the " mass shooting " category have been committed in signed and posted gun free zones that do not allow carry on premises. Hopefully we learn from that. Don't want to get too much deeper on that topic however as it's kinda political.

I don't know where you are in Ohio but the one in my town here in Ohio closes at 11 most nights sadly.
