    OK i figured out a work around for now.
    after you update uninstall geforce Experience, then install 2.1.1.1 which you can download here http://nvidia-geforce-experience.software.informer.com/download/?cf14ef7d

    make a text document called commandline.txt
    put   -windowed  
    in the document
    place the document in your directory
     
    as for lag ive never really noticed i only use windowed when im showing something in teamviewer/join me
