Just for the LOL's

Even though I have a gaming computer in the works and being shipped out to me next week, I wanted to practice modding GTA IV and getting familiar with the files. So after installing through Steam and waiting 12 hours for the install, I got LCPDFR and a cop car mod installed, it was time to launch the game. The laptop I have now only has a i5 2440m and a intel family graphics card so I wasn't expecting much, but what I was given just made me lol. Basically, the only textures that load are the car Nikko and Roman are in and a few light poles. the rest is just a blue screen I'm not sure if it is fixable and I really don't care if it is or not since I'm getting a computer 10x as good as the one I am typing on right now. I just wanted to share my lol moment with you.

This story certainly enjoyed me! Jolly boy! Tell me more about your exciting story about Niko & Roman sitting in a car floating on a blue screen!

The fact you even attempted to play this game on a laptop surprises me. Only really high-end laptops could handle this game and even then it's not perfect, best to get a desktop :>

I got GTA IV on both my laptop and desktop. It actually runs better on my laptop. Granted I get shit FPS on both, 5-10 FPS on the desktop and 10-20 FPS on the laptop (da fuq?)

Dude, I play LCPD:FR on a laptop and it runs super-smooth on medium settings. That's all I want/need.

You guys don't have to be so mean to him, he's probably new to gaming on computers. But most people should know that you can't run a game on that card, at most, playable.

But yeah, all in all, your current PC is not strong enough to run it. Wait until you get your new PC.
