  1. So I hadn't played with the mod since about early July and today when I booted it up, the launcher had to update. Ever since then, I have had nothing but problems. If I have a mods folder or anything that is not related to the base LSPDFR mod or RPH in the main GTA files, the games crashes. My RPH log gives me the 0xc0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) error. I can get the base LSPDFR to work just fine, its just when I add ScripthookV, RageNativeUI or any other add on into the main files I am having issues. Anybody have any ideas or having similar issues?
  2. I actually have not set up a commandline yet. I will do that tomorrow. I can max out my settings already but I am only using 1100 of the 1930mb available to me, hopefully the commandline with fix my texture issues because it is rather annoying
  3. Well got my computer and the game and the mod work fine. However, about 10-15 minutes into playing my textures suddenly struggle to load and things start to dissapear and eventually everything just goes to a blue screen with some textures loaded. 4. Officer down is 10-00 ( ten double zero) where I'm from
  5. Even though I have a gaming computer in the works and being shipped out to me next week, I wanted to practice modding GTA IV and getting familiar with the files. So after installing through Steam and waiting 12 hours for the install, I got LCPDFR and a cop car mod installed, it was time to launch the game. The laptop I have now only has a i5 2440m and a intel family graphics card so I wasn't expecting much, but what I was given just made me lol. Basically, the only textures that load are the car Nikko and Roman are in and a few light poles. the rest is just a blue screen I'm not sure if it is fixable and I really don't care if it is or not since I'm getting a computer 10x as good as the one I am typing on right now. I just wanted to share my lol moment with you.
  6. I am not using two monitors. At the time I thought the more video memory the better. I have already placed the order so I can't change it. That is just me being an ignorant first time gaming computer buyer. As long as it can run the game at decent to high settings I will be satisfied.
  7. I changed to an Intel Z77 build. So everything is okay. This is what I eventually went with CPU: Intel
  8. So due to some circumstances I am not going to put as much money into my build as I would like. So I am downgrading my processor to an i5 3750k. Will it be able to handle the game? EDIT: A quick response would be greatly appreciated as I am planning on buying tomorrow. Thanks in advance for the help.
  9. I have always been an Intel guy. I don't know much about the AMD series but I would personally recommend an i5 3750k if you plan on buying again soon.
  10. Okay so I did some more research and this is what I have come up with. What do you guys think? 11. @unr3al Thank you for directing me here. I will look more closely before creating another thread. Basically my main question is if I buy the Black Pearl from cyberpower without any customization which includes a quad core i7 processor an AMD RadeonHD 6950 2GB 16X PCIe Video Card and 8 GB RAM can I play GTA on max settings. EDIT: More info on the processor. i7-3820 Quad-Core 3.60 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011
  12. Hmm... Ok well what if I downgraded my processor to a single core i7-3770K 3.50 GHz 8MB, could I still be able to max out graphics?
  13. Hello everyone, After watching some videos on Youtube of LCPDFR I became absolutely fascinated and almost obsessed with the mod. I have finally saved up enough money to buy a powerful gaming computer but I am concerned about buying the right one. I am planning on buying from cyberpower and the Intel Black Pearl is high on my list. If I put a AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB 16X in it along with a i7 3820 Quad-Core 3.60 GHz processor and 8GB (2GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Quad Channel Memory should this be okay to run the game on decent settings?
