Would a Acer Nitro 5 run LSPDFR?

Featured Replies

Hey guys. I am thinking about buying a Acer Nitro 5 from Best Buy. I am not looking for desktops because of size, I wanna  be portable, and also looking for some sales.

Anyways, I am looking at the Acer Nitro 5 from Best Buy for $679.99 (on sale), and I was wondering if someone has this laptop or can look at the specs tell me if this computer can run at least medium/high settings with also playing lspdfr, and also telling me if 256GB SSD is enough for storage or if I should buy an external hard drive like 1TB.

Thank you.

Most likely, looks like it is marketed with the latest released Forza Horizon game, so it should probably run GTA V. I didn't look into any specs though.

Ok, thank you. Also, I asked if I should get a 1TB External Hard Drive because it is 256GB currently, or do you think it is enough storage for multiple games?

256 GB won't last long, and you can't really install games on an external drive.

Windows can be quite large, gta v is over 60-70 GB.

The GTX 1050 Ti model is capable of reasonable frames when used with LSPDFR, provided you're using reasonable settings for GTA V itself. Be warned that using a lot of plugins (especially resource intensive ones such as LSPDFR+, Traffic Policer, Safer Chases) will cause frames to drop further. As long as your expectations are reasonable and you don't plan on maintaining 60 FPS all the time, this is a good budget buy if you aren't willing to/able to spend more.

256GB is enough for basic computer usage and installing GTA V, although you will want the hard drive for additional storage. GTA V itself will take up a good amount of the SSD on its own.

Okay, so do you think if I installed those plugins you listed, and put GTA V in medium settings, do you think it will stay at a 60 FPS or maybe higher?

If you run 5-10 plugins or more and break 50 FPS or even 40 i want to meet you and shake your hand.
