How to make a witness do a "writing on paper" animation

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am adding a witness to one of my callouts, and I would like them to play the animation of writing on a piece of paper as an indication that they are writing a statement (similar to when you write someone a citation at a traffic stop).

What is the code to do this becuase witness.tasks doesn't seem to give any.

Thanks.

Witness.Tasks.PlayAnimation()

You just gotta find the name of the writing on paper's name and fill out the parameters.

Ok, where would I find a list of the animations?

Use the scenario natives.

Damn, I've literally spent days trying to get a simple "write on paper" animation to work properly. I really should spend more time studying the nativedb before, thank you so much! 🙂

If you want an easier way to use scenarios, I made a class for them. Please just make sure to give credit if you use this.

I'm a bit confused with how to actually use this. I want a ped (Suspect) to do to the WORLD_HUMAN_PARTYING scenario during an intoxicated subject callout. Do I add this class to my project, then use the relevant functions at the bottom inside the class I have for the specific callout?

e: Disregard, I think I figured out what I needed.
