Hello everyone,

 I saw a lot of players having a bad FPS while using a bunch of Add-ons.

I'm here to teach you which Plugins/Scripts are causing those FPS drops.
But before that, i let you know what i'm using right now and how much FPS i have while playing with those Plugins/Scripts.

Specs:
☞ Quad Core i5 6500 Skylake 3.2 Ghz ☜
☞ 16GB Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 ☜
☞ Gigabyte GTX970 4GB ☜

☞ Windows 10 Home 64x ☜

 

Well, when im playing without any mods at all (Vanilla) i have something like 130-140 FPS. (On deafult settings)
And with LSPD:FR + Plugins/Scripts 60-90 FPS. (in Los Santos City)

As far as i know, KeepCalm is the major issue,
and some of Albo1125 Plugins/Scripts for example: Assorted Callouts, Traffic Policer and such heavy Scripts/Plugins.

Hey, if you have strong rig you can add them too but with more FPS drops (not that major as KeepCalm)

I've also been having this issue recently with GTA V but it's worse with LSPDFR when all the plugins are included. I've tried changing the resolution and it works but it ruins the quality and makes GTA V look so pixelated from a distance. Idk if this will fix your problem, but I also suggest trying borderless windowed mode first!

Yeah im forcing it with rage and it works just fine!
im not going lower then 55 FPS :)

Geez I have a 1080 and I'm lucky to get 35 fps..  might be my fx8350 that's holding me back.

I am running a i5 3570K and a 980ti and am averaging 60 fps (dips sometimes to 50 but there is no noticeable lag)

Damn I wish I got even 50 fps

My 1080Ti SLI rig gets a solid 60 with maxed out settings with 1080p, thats including all my graphic mods and etc.

I just started being able to. The issue (thanks goes to @TheRecluseGamerfor helping me) was the fact that Nvidia has a variable clock speed. If you lock the clock it will greatly improve performance.

I have a  Gtx 1080 would I do it through msi afterburner? Thanks

Appreciate it guys... I tried it and no noticable difference I think it's my cpu fx8350 

It's keep calm or make peds calm again that's causing it?.

I don't know about Make Peds Calm Again, but Keep Calm is a confirmed fps killer.

Out of curiosity I removed Make Peds Calm Again and gained like 4-5 FPS but that's about it.

I believe it's due to what we discussed last night where outdated mods are not optimized.  MPCA is still quite recent, while KC is a few years old.

Yeah makes sense, it's so sad to see so many awesome plugins and callout packs vanish to the back pages due to not being updated. Would be cool if the authors/creators would just come back and give permission to the community to update and re-upload the files. One can dream I suppose. Hopefully 0.4 excites and brings back a lot of players some of which I can only hope will be more skilled and talented than me and capable of making plugins and such.
