Although Police 10-13 is a joke and a flop, if you really want a police sim...

Again, made by European developers as most simulators are. Although, this looks to have some actual effort and thought put into it with a lot of functionality. Although it looks like some wonky 3D cartoon, functions, overlay, and options really seem to be emphasized along with interaction and depth. Seems it'll also have a 2 player co-op mode. Release date is set for January 25th, 2018

I'll believe it when I see it released.

Despite the cringey voiceovers and ropey graphics, it looks like a fun little time waster kind of game I wouldn't mind taking a look at.

I dont understand why you're all mad... the dev already said LSPDFR was a big inspiration for the game and we can actually see in his dev dairys that he has a few LSPDFR folders himself...

Just because he plays LSPDFR and it was an inspiration doesn't mean he's legit.  Furthermore, people could easily fake LSPDFR folders if they wanted to be that deceitful.  Just read my previous posts, I'm not going to say it all again.

I hear you but I think you guys just started off with the wrong foot. I've had legal issues before and everything was accorded by dialogue before trial. And it was some pretty heavy shit. If anything I find that other simulators like that Response one, I dont remember the name, are pretty toxic towards him. His perfectism is something that I deeply admire.

Obviously you guys are on a whole different level. Totally changing a game purpose like GTA 5 to basically make a brand new one. The only thing missing is a storyline basically... I just want to give a chance to every cop sim out there so companies can see theres actually a market for that.

Ultimately this petty war will just do otherwise and might never get another decent cop sim after these. We just dont have the luxury to be this picky at this time. Not even asking for faith, a like on their FB page is a one action thing but it will definetely boost them. Cops sims need collaboration...


Also no hes not faking. Seen real .xml and .ytd files in there.

I wouldn't really call it a 'petty war' when it is more of a lack of faith type situation, I mean... there are ways you conduct yourself when creating a game, and trying to take legal action because you didn't like that people where unsure on whether the idea and plan was sound is just stupid.

For me, the where certain things other than this that made it slightly concerning, firstly is the fact that it's as said above a triple-a game for all consoles, yet they have branch where the developers sign up to create assets, which leads me to believe we'll end up with maybe a slightly more polished Enforcer game, then the Kickstarter wasn't created on any of the known Kickstarter-type funding sites, but from what it seemed was through their own site, through PayPal.

It wouldn't surprise me if this game did come out, but I don't think it will ever be what they promised it to be, adding on to the fact the pretty much censor anything that is negative regarding their game, where they are not helping themselves in the whole trust area.

It was a strange time to be around when it first surfaced. The way they bashed around our members and such, really didn't sit right with anyone. I'd very much like to see a successful police sim being released though. 

There are a few things that are needed to make a good police simulator:

1. Licensed and polished vehicle models: Because literally everyone wants to drive a real life Ford CrownVictoria. And there has to be a variety of them.

2. Good graphics: I know that graphics doesn't have to be good for a game to be good, but in the simulation genre, everything needs to look real. 

3. Realistic mechanics: That's the point of a simulator right?

 

Like I said before only a triple A company or a company who would put in the effort and get all the licensing rights done could possibly make this game. And very rarely this would happen because everyone wants to play the bad guys. I mean hell even Battlefield Hardline sucked with their cops vs criminals gameplay. The three games that actually came close to being a police simulator in my opinion was Need for Speed Rivals (technically all you do is respond to pursuits but still better than all the other crapshoot), SWAT 4, and Emergenyc (they actually put in some good effort and licensed vehicles logo removed). 

 

The reason why SAPDFR/LCPDFR/LSPDFR became famous is because of the realistic mechanics and the ability to mod licensed vehicles. Everything else, unless the games can prove themselves, are trash.
